The role
We are looking for an Account Executive focused on enterprise customers who enjoys building pipeline, talking to customers, running product demos, and closing deals.
This is a hands-on sales role where you own the entire process from prospecting to closing. There is no SDR team generating leads. You will build and manage your own pipeline through outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
You will primarily work with larger organizations that use platforms like Jira and Azure DevOps, typically engaging with engineering leaders, transformation teams, PMOs, and senior delivery stakeholders.
The role requires someone who is comfortable driving conversations with experienced professionals while also being operational and proactive in building new opportunities.
You will report to the Growth Director and work closely with Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Experience teams.
The role includes travel to meet customers, attend events, and build relationships in person.
Location
Our office is located in Malmö, and we welcome both hybrid and remote candidates based in Sweden.
If you work remotely, we expect you to travel to the Malmö office a minimum of once per quarter for team collaboration and planning.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from first outreach to closed deal
Identify and reach out to potential customers in relevant industries
Build and maintain your own pipeline in HubSpot
Run discovery meetings and product demonstrations
Close new business deals
Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Experience for onboarding and long-term customer success
Work with the Partner Manager when opportunities involve ecosystem partners
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets

What the sales process typically looks like
Work with Marketing for lead generation and reach out to prospects directly
Book and run discovery meetings to understand prospects' challenges
Demonstrate our products and show how they solve real customer problems
Guide prospects through trial periods
Collaborate internally when needed with Product or Customer Experience
Negotiate commercial terms and close the deal
Participate in industry events, partner networks, and customer meetings
Continuously improve your approach based on data and feedback

Experience working with the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence)
A structured and data-driven approach to sales
Fluent English at a professional level in writing and speaking; other languages are a great bonus!

About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent role. Your primary responsibility is to create demand for our products through effective messaging and marketing programs.

- Be responsible for our social media channels by planning, creating, scheduling, and analyzing interaction with posts on each channel (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

- Keep our User Community site updated with key marketing content.

- Manage updates to our marketing websites and create landing pages for specific campaigns when necessary.

- Craft and send monthly newsletters, curating content from your coworkers and the wider community as needed.

- Assist in event planning and logistics, particularly conference sponsorships. (This may require occasional travel.)

- Help us level up our graphic designs, both print and digital so that we can elevate our brand and increase market share.

- Help us make our content channels usable, enjoyable, and accessible - especially for first-time users.

- Help us improve the effectiveness of our efforts through implementing and learning from A/B testing and other strategies, where appropriate.

- Coordinate and execute other marketing activities identified by the General Marketing Manager that further our marketing strategy so that we can achieve our sales goals and brand objectives.

About You
You have a passion for marketing and are a driven, creative person who can work alone or with a team and who loves to make beautiful things. You are a storyteller and can translate complex information content into messaging that connects to a wide audience. You have a flexible attitude and can change your approach as new information is learned.

Your Qualifications

- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.

- 2+ years of experience in branding and content management in B2B organizations.

- Experience in creating some graphic elements for use in campaigns and other assets. (Examples appreciated!)

- You can be physically in our Malmö office at least two (2) days a week.

- You are capable of and willing to travel globally on occasion.

Your Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

- You possess native-level fluency in English - both verbal and written.

- You can take a lot of information and concisely communicate it to others in an appealing and effective way.

- You have experience planning, executing, and evaluating activities that create audience engagement (paid, earned, or owned).

- You exhibit proficiency in the use of design tools such as Figma and Adobe's Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

- You have a keen eye for graphic design and experience creating effective and well-designed content based on solid graphic design principles.

- You stay up-to-date on popular culture, trends, and how various demographic groups consume content.

- You have the aptitude for planning, managing, and executing events such as expos, online events, and conferences.

- You are curious and eager to learn new things and develop yourself professionally.

Important Information
