We are looking for a Project Manager to support our Strategic Partnerships team in Better Energy Sweden to make an impact that matters.

You will be a part of Better Energy Sweden which consists of four project development teams and a business support team with ambitious colleagues specialising in the developing of large-scale energy projects. Better Energy Sweden is responsible for all aspects of the development of the projects covering landscape architecture, community engagement, grid integration, technical design, and environmental assessment, including designing project areas, negotiating with involved parties, land acquisition and investigating environmental impacts.
How you will make a difference in Better Energy
As our new Project Manager, you will hold a position of trust with great responsibility, handling essential management and business information and actively contributing to decision-making processes. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Strategic Partnerships management in achieving objectives efficiently and effectively.
A primary focus will be set on supporting the development of high-potential strategic partnerships with important industrial energy consumers. You will be driving and handling a wide range of strategic and operational tasks, and the role is essential in supporting the Strategic Partnerships team on securing high quality on all deliverables.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Project manage key strategic partnership negotiations to enable the buildout of renewable energy in Sweden
Prepare presentations and materials, analyses, and reports for a variety of meetings e.g. with Strategic Partners, management meetings, team meetings, etc.
Manage communication and prioritise important messages to relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for internal and external meetings including preparation of agendas, taking minutes, documentation of decisions, and follow-up on action item tracking.
Internal stakeholder management across functions e.g. Finance, EPC, Legal etc.
General support of the Strategic Partnership team

We are looking for someone who has a relevant background, perhaps you come from a management consulting position, Executive Assistant position or other relevant role in a professional service firm or energy sector. You can drive and handle a wide range of strategic and operational tasks in a structured manner and with a high attention to details, as well as being flexible to take charge of tasks, no matter their size. You take pride in ensuring a continuously high and solid professional foundation in your support of the Strategic Partners. We are looking for a colleague that thrives in a complex environment where you independently prioritise tasks while working in an innovative and solution-oriented manner.
Additionally, we find it important that you possess the following competencies:
Strong project and stakeholder management competencies
Ability to understand and communicate complex issues, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders
Strong business understanding
High degree of planning skills, while being able to re-prioritise tasks on a daily basis.
Strong collaborative skills across organisational functions and the ability to build relationships
Independent, proactive, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in Swedish and English.
Strong command of Office 365, especially PowerPoint, Excell, and Word.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Empathetic approach
Ability and willingness to travel (ca 5 days per month)

How you will make a difference in Better Energy
Dina huvudsakliga ansvarsområden och arbetsuppgifter kommer bestå av följande:
· Handla upp och granska naturvärdesinventeringar.
· Hantera ansökningar enligt 9 kap. miljöbalken eller anmälningar enligt 12 kap. 6 § miljöbalken alternativt annat lagrum enligt miljöbalken.
· Hantera övriga anmälningar, dispenser etc. enligt miljöbalken.
· Leda och beställa övriga utredningar och konsulter kopplat till projektutveckling i tillståndsprocesserna.
· Om möjligt stötta GIS-verksamheten i form av exempelvis kartframställning och analyser.
Vi söker dig som har:
· Naturvetenskaplig, juridisk eller teknisk utbildning alternativt likvärdig utbildning.
· Erfarenhet av miljöbalken.
· B-körkort.
· Flytande i Svenska och Engelska.
Det är även meriterande om du har:
· Erfarenhet av att handla upp och leda konsulter.
· Erfarenhet av GIS.
· Arbetslivserfarenhet från kommun, länsstyrelse, konsultbolag el dyl.

As Grid Integration Specialist, you will ensure the smooth implementation of the grid connection process resulting in signed grid connection agreements. The team should be distinguished by a high degree of collaboration, both within the team and with other colleagues. This is a newly created team within our Commercial department in Sweden. You will be reporting to the Lead Grid Integration Manager.
The team supports the rest of Better Energy on grid related matters in Sweden. The team works very closely with the rest of the Swedish Commercial team, where their focus is the development of our projects including land acquisition, environmental permits and other activities to make the project ready to build. There is a strong culture of working together to make the projects successful and team members are not afraid to take on tasks that are not usually in their normal scope.
How you will make a difference in Better Energy
Your primary focus will be securing grid connections of Better Energy’s energy parks in Sweden. Through dialogues with grid operators at distribution, regional and transmission level, you will find the best solutions for grid connection. We see you have an important role in this mission.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Ensuring grid connection of Better Energy’s Swedish projects, signing grid connection agreements.
Supporting the Swedish development team with questions about grid.
Building relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Grid connection opportunity evaluation – Grid Capacity, Connection point, and voltage level.
Managing the grid connection process from the start of the project until ready to build.
Dialogue with our construction and engineering teams on the interface between the grid and park.
Tariff optimisation and cost calculations.
Technical compliance (RfG and other project specific requirements).
Regulatory aspects of grid connections.
Updating the project pipeline with grid related costs and time estimates.

So, who are we looking for?
Together with the Swedish Lead Grid Integration Manager, there is an opportunity for the Grid Integration Specialist to shape the role according to their experiences and interests. Therefore, the ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent education or experiences.
Experience with grid connections, either from a grid operator, as a consultant or a customer such as wind, solar or a large consumer.
Fluency in both Swedish and English is a must.
You must hold a valid driving license.

Additionally, we find it important that you possess the following competencies:
Communication skills as there will be a lot of dialogue with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work on your own as well as in a group.
Understanding of grid planning and dimensioning of electricity grids.
Knowledge of the Swedish electricity grid and grid operators.
Experience in the technical aspects of grid connections, for instance design and construction of substations, power lines.
Understanding of relevant regulations such as RfG, EIFS 2018:2 and others.
