DBtune is seeking an accomplished software engineer with a strong background in building complex software solutions. As a Chief Technology Officer / Tech Lead at DBtune, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our ML engine into a more scalable and robust SaaS solution. Working closely with our existing development team, you will be responsible for building the software infrastructure of the DBtune product, with a strong focus on the back-end and overseeing the front-end development. This is a hands-on role that requires writing software and contributing directly to the codebase. Additionally, you will lead the effort to streamline our internal deployment processes, maintain our cloud-based services for high availability, and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems. Design and build the software infrastructure of the database optimization product in collaboration with the development team.

Requirements
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong software architecture skills for cloud-based systems.
Proficiency in various cloud providers, back-end development (we use Python, TypeScript, Golang), and basic front-end skills (e.g., React, TailwindCSS).
Experience with API design (REST or GraphQL), databases, and .
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), and testing.
Good understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker).
