Schedule:
4 days per week
Morning shift (09:30–14:30)

Tasks:
Prepare simple dishes (mainly pasta)
Assist with prep before service
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Support during lunch service

Requirements:
Basic cooking skills (experience is a plus but not required)
Fast, organized, and able to work under pressure
Positive attitude and team spirit

JOB POST – Cook / Kitchen Assistant (20h/week)


Afternoon Prep Shift (14:30–18:30)


Location: Gatto Nero Pasta – Östra Förstadsgatan 29, Malmö
Position: Part-time Cook / Kitchen Assistant (20 hours per week)


About the job:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our Italian kitchen for the afternoon prep shift. Your main tasks will include preparing ingredients (vegetables, herbs, sauces), portioning, organizing the kitchen, cooking simple items following our recipes, and helping set up for the next day. You will work closely with our chef and support the overall production of the restaurant.


Work schedule:
14:30–18:30, Monday to Friday
(20 hours per week)


Responsibilities:
– Prep work: chopping vegetables, parsley, herbs
– Preparing sauces and pasta ingredients
– Portioning food for the next day
– Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
– Following recipes accurately
– Assisting the chef when needed


What we’re looking for:
– Basic experience in kitchen work (preferred, not required)
– High hygiene standards
– Ability to work efficiently and independently
– Good teamwork and communication
– Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
– English required (Swedish is a plus)
