Background and skills
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide assistance to our customers and the service team.

The position is a temporary post for 12 months. You will be on top of all customer cases and with the team diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and be responsible for spare parts management. 

Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions with help of the team to their technical problems.

Responsibilities
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues with the team.
- Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- Own KPIs relating to the supply and cost of parts
- Devise strategies and KPIs for monitoring parts consumption, regulate and prioritize supply to achieve peak performance
- Work with logistics to organize and coordinate shipments of parts both domestically and internationally.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their equipment are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
- Maintain good relationships with clients

Personal qualification
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer/Support Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience with industry equipment
- Ability to understand the flow in diagnosing and troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Be able to travel a couple of weeks per year

Team leader Service – Nordic Region
Do you want to work in a leadership role where you can motivate and support others to succeed in their roles? Do you thrive in an organization that is constantly evolving? Then you can be the one we are looking for in the role of Service Team Leader! In this role, your main task is to lead and support our service technicians in the Nordic Region.

You will maintain our supercilious goals of customer service, productivity, availability, profitability and security. In addition to leading and supporting the team, you must ensure a good working environment for your team, be responsible for resources and competence development. You report and are responsible for communication to our Service management team as well as working for a well-functioning collaboration with our sales organization and other internal functions.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you are an natural leader, who has the advantage of experience from a service organization with personnel responsibility for field technicians, as in this role you will primarily lead at a distance. Graniten have large clients within Pharma and Health Care. You have probably worked in or towards a larger organization and understand the administration and the systems and processes required. We believe that you have a solid technical background and have a good leadership ability. You have good IT skills and are used to presenting and reporting. You are fluent in Swedish and good communication skills in English in both speech and writing. You also have a B driving license. In this role, you will be working from our office in Arlöv, Malmö region.

As a person, you should have a positive attitude and an ability to work independently towards given goals. Your drive to motivate and develop your employees is of great importance, as is your ability to create good collaboration both internally and externally. You have a structured way of working and the ability to prioritize among the tasks.

Qualifications
- Technical education preferably on university level.
- Proven leadership skills
- Minimum 5 Years’ work experience in the machine service field
- Good knowledge in production machines both mechanically and in automation systems.
- Good skills in Microsoft office.
- Fluent in Swedish and good communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Driver’s license
