Today we have hubs all over Sweden as well as in Norway and Denmark, but since you are reading this you probably know that it is our most southern Swedish hub that is in need of a Site Manager, hopefully that is where you come in…

What you will be doing

As site manager for our Malmö hub you will be responsible for creating the prerequisites for our employees to carry out their duties with high quality and in a timely manner. Additionally we want you to make sure that everyone at the hub takes responsibility for our business and develops in their roles.

You will be responsible for internal as well as external communication on site and make sure that business is conducted according to company standards and policies. In order to do so you will collaborate closely with other site managers around Sweden and Denmark while reporting into our Head of Swedish Production. As you can tell this is an exciting and wide role, and your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Leading and delegating the work at the hub
- Ensuring that the Malmö production is carried out effectively and with regards to the safety of our employees
- Handling personnel issues, reports, and deviation reports in order to identify problems and make sure these are addressed.
- Having regular performance reviews and salary discussions.
- Making sure that we are staffed correctly and carry out recruitment, with the help of out Talent Acquisition department, for the hub.


Who you are

We are looking for a leader, in order to be successful in this role you will have experience from running an organisation forward at a fast pace. You will most likely have worked in a similar role before but you are now interested in taking the next step in your career. When we call your references they will tell us that you take care of your colleagues and constantly help them to develop in the right direction with quality in focus. They will also tell us that you possess good business acumen, a solid understanding of logistics and know how to handle both “last mile” and heavy transports. Moreover we would like to see evidence of the following in your background:

- Experience handling staff issues and work environment questions
- A good understanding of IT systems
- A capacity to work both operatively and hands on as well as strategically and long term.
- A capacity to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English.

About the role

As an Operations Manager at Instabox, you will be responsible for ensuring that our routes align with our tight schedule. You will lead the package sorting and at the same time also work as a support for couriers. The role also includes scheduling and reviewing both existing and new routes. You will have an extensive network of contacts as you coordinate for our deliveries and have daily contact with our couriers and customer service teams. As we are a tech/logistics scaleup, we are happy to see that you are interested in technical solutions!

Responsibilities

- Scheduling staffing of couriers.
- Management of sorting work.
- Traffic management during ongoing routes.
- Review and planning of routes.
- Personnel management.
- As we have operations between 7-00:30 on weekdays and 8-19 on weekends, you must be comfortable working in a flexible schedule.


About you who are applying

We are looking for you who have previously worked in a coordinating role where you have had broad contact areas and worked service-oriented.

You like to work problem-orientated, and you must have been in a leading role before where you've been responsible for the staffing, preferably in the logistics industry.

Requirement

- University education, preferably in logistics or equivalent three years of work experience of similar tasks
- Have experience of leading teams
- Speaks Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing
- Good knowledge in MS/Office and working in different IT systems
