The Opportunity
We are building the best Active Network intelligence solution in the world and we are looking for a Software Test Engineer for our Data Plane team. We believe you are an enthusiastic co-worker with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the mindset of a “doer”. You have a few years of experience in python and love testing and test automation.
The Job
Acting as a QA point of contact and studying to become an expert in your assigned area.
Installing/testing/verifying multiple components that comprise a product with the intention to certify that the product is ready for release and conform to product requirements.
Developing and maintaining test plans and test cases for features under test.
Automation of your test cases within an established automated framework
While meeting schedule commitments, executing tests and providing quality test status reports.
Reviewing and analyzing project documentation to ensure product test-ability.
Identifies level of test coverage required and evaluates customer feedback to identify weak areas
Ability to work independent and collaborative
Development of reusable tools for test automation and identify new methods for automation

What skills you bring:
Engineering or equivalent degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Understanding of Quality Assurance processes including development of Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Strategies
Few years of work experience in Automation testing using Python and verification field.
Understanding of hardware and software configurations, network switches, configuration of software
Experience analyzing network protocols using tools such as Wireshark, Ethereal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Opportunity

In your role as a Senior SW Test Engineer with Sandvine, you will be a part of a highly competent and self-sustaining team that are proud to always have Quality as a number one priority.

You are passionate about SW development and test, test automation, quality assurance and have experience in different systems testing areas such as functional, performance, characteristics, stability and SW management. You are also analytical with excellent troubleshooting skills and appreciate the importance of automation as an enabler for continuous integration, delivery and deployment.

The Job
Develop a solid Performance test plan together with the team
Develop, maintain and execute test cases for Performance, System and solution testing
Assist with field projects from time to time, that may require automation
Identify areas for automation, collect test data requirements, develop new test metrics and techniques to maximize testing efficiency and scalability
Handle different traffic generators (e.g. TRex, Ixia, etc)
Perform timely and thorough code reviews for members of the team
Write scripts/applications to generate test data and/or emulate scenarios

We are currently looking for system/solution tester. The expansion is in Bangalore, India.

What skills you bring
A graduate (or) post graduate in Computer Science (or similar) from a reputed University/college
Experience from system testing such as performance measurement, benchmarking and dimensioning
A background from Telecom or Data networks with prior experience in Virtualization is preferred.
High experience of SW development or test in a Cloud and Virtualization environment
Excellent coding skills in Python
Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with routers, switches and firewalls)
Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
Experience from working in a Linux development environment
Experience on continuous integration concepts, tools (e.g Git), and best practices
Fluent in English, both in speech and in writing

As Program Manager you work with the integrated product teams to manage and track cost, schedule, scope and technical performance of the projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the overall product team’s program. The program manager evangelizes and ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables in compliance with the New Product Generation and governance processes.


The Job
Lead multiple software development projects that are complex in nature, involving for example, a disparate multi-disciplinary team, up to $10M+, 6-18+ months duration, new technology, multiple unknowns
Drive the end-to-end integration of consistent project management and product life cycle management methodologies, best practices and common terminology across the organization
Regularly capture, analyze and communicate project- and program-level status, performance and financial metrics
Act as mediator to achieve win-win scenarios across various stakeholders
Lead a post-mortem process for each project to ensure lessons learned are well communicated and incorporated into future projects


What Skills You Bring
PMP certification or equivalent; extremely well versed in project management standards, methodologies, and best practices and feels comfortable in teaching and mentoring others
