In the role, as senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be part of the exciting journey into the future of a more connected world.
The products you will work with are based on short-range radio technologies, e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, Matter etc. and we provide it to the B2B market as wireless modules which are easy to integrate, fully tested and certified. For our customers this means reduced time-to-market, less investments, and less need for deeper competences in wireless technology domain, instead customer focus can be on the product and application.
You will be part of our Product strategy team, your focus area will be product marketing and you will become one of our first point of contact for sales regions, distribution partners and segment/application marketing. You will work with product manager colleagues, sales organizations, distribution partners, other product centers, to grow our business further. You will build market knowledge, participate in various studies, be part of the product center’s go to market plans and roadmap process proposing new products and offerings as applicable. Together with the sales teams you will create demand and secure design wins, keep distributors up to date on our portfolios, create eco-system and partner network where needed. Based on your background and profile you may also take on product ownership role for products in our portfolio.
You will have a broad network within the company e.g. product strategy colleagues, sales, marketing, R&D, application engineering and management functions at various levels. Externally you will interface with customers, distributors, suppliers, and eco-system partners.
Responsibility areas:
Product marketing towards the target markets from the product center point of view
Be the daily entry point on portfolio level, for regional sales teams and segment/application marketing
Establish market knowledge, with respect to short range radio technology aspects, i.e. trends, competition, TAM/SAM, market requirements
Work with sales to win major opportunities, engage suppliers and partners as needed
Pro-actively keep distributors up to date, well-educated on our portfolios, and maintain visibility within the distributor channels
Propose new offerings, products and reference designs based on market input
Grow and maintain eco-system and partnerships, joint offerings and marketing
Develop necessary marketing tools – e.g. white papers, articles, webinars, presentations, demos, videos
Active contributor and participant in market campaigns, events, fairs and shows
Product ownership is a potential area, depending on experience and background

Your background to be successful:
Master of Science or similar (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science), additional education in business and/or marketing is an advantage
Experience (10 years) from product marketing, business development and similar within B2B, wireless/electronics business
Knowledge in wireless technologies e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular etc. as well as an understanding for software aspects
Knowledge and experience from semiconductor and/or wireless module industry is an advantage
Capability to easily create understanding of technical aspects/complexity combined with a business-oriented mindset
Good ability in building relationships and networking
Experience from working with distribution channels, is an advantage

As a system verification engineer, within the u-blox R&D organization, you have an important role together with colleagues who design, develop, and verify software for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules to make Internet of Things become a reality. We are working with IP-based services, cloud services, network and product security, and applications based on WLAN and Bluetooth BR/EDR/low energy communication.
You are responsible for the verification of products containing u-blox and third-party hardware and software. Primary Tasks
• Design the hardware for new Short-Range radio modules
• Integration of wireless transceivers, radio frontends and antennas
• Review and verification of RF designs
• Verify that modules work according to specification
• Write technical documentation
• Design PCB for internal use (e.g. development, characterization and evaluation boards)
• Ensure on-time delivery, performance, and cost as planned

Secondary Tasks
• Develop software used internally for development projects, both for embedded targets and PC environment
• Together with certification manager, develop competence and act as an advisor in the projects, within certification area
• Select components in cooperation with purchasing team
• Ensure transfer of design to manufacturing partner
• Analyze parts that are returned by customers
• Support specification of new products
• Provide input for and review data sheets, user guides and release notes
• Contribute to improvements of company processes and quality requirements

Requirements
• MS or BS in electrical engineering
• Minimum 3 years of Hardware Engineering experience
• Experience in Mixed Signal (RF/Digital) System design on Board level
• Know-how in RF-Measurement techniques
• Experience from EMC, standardization and certification
• Used to work independently and precisely
• Experience in using board design CAD and simulation tools, preferably Cadence environment
• Knowledge in software programming
• Good English skills, skills in other languages are an advantage
• Swedish citizen or holder of a valid work permit for Sweden Visa mindre

You are responsible for developing software embedded features requested by customers. You are the key technical person for a specific hardware platform and interact with stake holders and chip vendors. You will also be able to develop your skills in a technical area, for example IP-based services, network or product security, WLAN protocols, Bluetooth.
You work closely with our customer application engineers and you are an important part of the software team who designs, develops, and verifies software for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity modules which enables our customer to do internet of things end products. Our teams are small, and the agile work is performed closely in cooperation with technology and product strategy teams, as well as with customer support, and hardware design team.
You are a newly graduated or have a couple of years’ experiences. Most important is that you have a genuine interest in relevant technology but also that you like to interact with other colleagues and hang around in our nice kitchen and relax and have fun. In your role there will be great opportunities to utilize a multitude of skills, to drive software design and architecture, to make use of your experience in implementation, profiling, and optimization, troubleshooting, debugging and tracing, requirement analysis, test automation and much more. The first 6 month at u-blox you will follow an introduction program to get a grip of all parts in our software organization. This is a?challenging?position in the software embedded team at u-blox Malmö.You will be the key responsible person for a specific hardware platform and related standalone products. You will work closely to chip vendors, project managers, developers, application engineers and software test lead. The position is partly a software programming role, with the possibility to focus on a technical area which you select yourself.


You are an experienced software engineer with a drive to take on different tasks such as talking with the Stakeholders deciding the scope as well as being a part of the team as a developer. You have experience of being a tech lead, agile leader and/or scrum master. You will keep together a backlog for a hardware platform and call for backlog grooming and retrospective meetings.


The work is?agile,?we follow either Scrum or Kanban methodology?adapted to the team need. You need to understand the Internet of Things networking principles.
We are working with applications, above the low-level Wi-Fi or BT drivers, including MQTT, TLS, cloud services, security ciphers, positioning, secure storage/boot, device management,?
