About the position
We are looking for a Test Engineer for our client, a major player in the automotive industry. This position is located in Malmö.
Your daily tasks
As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with the test cell operator to measure data from flow components such as turbochargers, valves, catalysts, and heat exchangers, with the primary goal of obtaining reliable test data. Equally important is understanding how the hardware setup influences test results.
Your responsibilities will include planning and preparing tests, ensuring quality during execution, analyzing and validating data, and documenting results. In addition to conducting tests, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative culture and contributing to the team's progress.

Qualifications:
Master of Science or similar education
Understanding how to measure temperature, flow, and pressure
Fault tracing skills
Personal interest in combustion engines and experience in mechanic work is valued
Fluent in English, written and spoken

Meritorious:
Experience of measuring systems is a large advantage
Education or experience of engine and exhaust aftertreatment

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-09-30, with the possibility of extension. Start 2025-03-31.

Headquartered in Ireland, delivering throughout Europe, Winthrop Engineering & Contracting is a leading engineering company employing approximately 600 people in 2021. Due to continued expansion, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. This position will be based in Sandviken
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee a team of Electrical Sub Contractors as they carry out electrical installation within a large electrical system and ensure the project program is kept. The supervisor must be effective at motivating their team, as well as giving a frank but constructive assessment of the work done.
Below is a list of typical duties but is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out during the project.
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
· Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.
· Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
· Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
· Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
· Attending DAB morning meetings.
· Ensure the labor requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
· Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
· Ensure that the Sub Contractors are working as efficiently as possible.
· Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to line manager.
· Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
· Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
· Ensuring all Sub Contractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.

Ensuring that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:
· Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner.
· Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
· Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.
· Complete weekly 'do not walk by' cards.

Skills, qualification & experience:
· Relevant Electrical Qualification essential eg. City & Guilds Certificate
· 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
· Data Center experience is advantageous
· Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required Visa mindre
