Tecan Nordic is currently hiring a strong, energetic, and engaged Sales Specialist focused on their Liquid Handling product range. This is a highly technical and consultative sales role where you will cover Tecan’s most advanced and prestigious products. Tecan’s liquid handling systems are highly flexible and, therefore, a sales specialist needs to develop know-how in applications, user software, performing customer demonstrations, presentations and training.  You will be covering Denmark as territory and customer segment will include biotech, academia, drug discovery and genomics laboratories among others.



Ansvarsområden


Individual sales territory responsibility for Order Entry (OE) and sales
Performing technical consultancy to fully understand customer needs and LiHa objectives
Demonstrating technical solutions by configuring systems, presenting solutions, referrals or demos
Managing customer expectations and in some cases challenging whether they are realistic and/or practical
Networking with key opinion leaders and partners to drive the business
Generation of customer required documentation including correctly formatted quotations
Submitting tenders and RFQs
Raise awareness of Tecan by performing education technical seminars (lunch and learn seminars)
Provide regional market intelligence
Managing the installation process after receipt of sales order including initial customer training
Help develop and execute yearly marketing strategy in collaboration with the rest of the team
Device and formulate regional growth plan in line with the overall company objectives
Submission of weekly forecast (OE and Sales) and maintaining updated CRM system.
Ensure compliance to company’s values, code of conduct and compliance of business processes
Positive engagement with other territories, the regional sales and service team, marketing and product management




Kvalifikationer
For this role, we are looking for candidates with a sales experience either in lab-tech or med-tech. Knowledge of automated workflows is advantageous, as well as previous experience in sales or customer-facing role.

You as a person are target-driven, highly self-motivated with a natural “will-to-win”. You are customer focused, and are an exceptionally good listener with ability to quickly understand and prioritize customer requirements. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills are required.


Science degree (or comparable scientific / technical education)
Minimum 3 years lab-tech or med-tech sales experience
Fluent Danish and English language skills.
Experience with The Challenger sales process or similar
Strong commercial skills and track record in sales
Able to communicate and understand the needs of the internal and external clients
Able to work well under pressure
Willingness to travel (2 to 3 day per week)

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Nu söker vi en ny kollega för en tillsvidaretjänst till vårt speciallab på patologilaboratorium i Malmö.

I arbetsuppgifterna ingår att arbeta med immunhistokemiska metoder på paraffin inbäddat vävnadsmaterial, immunofluorescens teknik på färsk vävnad för diagnostik av medicinska/transplanterade njurbiopsier samt hudstansar. Tjänsten erbjuder stor variation med många moment.


KVALIFIKATIONER
Du som söker är svensklegitimerad biomedicinsk analytiker, alternativt utbildad molekylärbiolog eller biomedicinare. För legitimationsyrken är språkkunskap i svenska lägst nivå C1 enligt Europarådets nivåskala ett krav. Det kan också innebära godkänt betyg i svenska 3 alternativt godkänt betyg i svenska som andraspråk 3, eller godkänt resultat på kurs i svenska för utomnordiska studenter motsvarande 60 hp. För övriga yrkesgrupper krävs goda kunskaper i svenska i såväl tal som skrift.

In this challenging and important role, you perform technical and application support activities such as on-site or remote support, installations, maintenance and repair of instruments, training of customers, and demonstrations. TECAN’s customer are found primarily in academic research, pharma industry and/or hospital laboratories. 

You belong to an experienced team of application specialists and field service engineers who all share the passion for Life Science, Technology and our customer’s applications. Our Nordic headquarters are located on Sveavägen, Stockholm, but in this role you will mainly be working from home or at customer sites. The territory of this role is Denmark and a minimum of overnight traveling is required.  

This role will suit someone who is self-motivated and enthusiastic and enjoys working independently as well as part of a team. You are action and solution oriented and customer focused and have strong analytical and diagnostic skills. 



Responsibilities


Perform instrument installation, implementation of application, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, customer training, sales support and sales demonstration of all Tecan products
Solve customer problems and ensure maximum availability and functionality of the instruments
Escalate issues regarding customer complaints, exceeding deadlines and other critical occurrences
Share information obtained from unique problems or specialized training to the Tecan organization
Maintain record of service calls and other service documentation according to company policy
Maintain appropriate parts inventory
Support sales representatives at their sales efforts, product demonstrations and trade shows
Participate in meetings, conferences, workshops and trainings






Qualifications
For this role, we are looking for candidates with a degree in either a life science related discipline (biology, chemistry or similar) or engineering. Hands on experience from troubleshooting and preferably technical repair of laboratory instrumentation / medtech or other technically complex equipment is highly desired. You have a genuine technical interest as well as knowledge and interest in computers and softwares. Programming knowledge (e.g. C#, .NET, VBScript, Matlab) is meritorious. Fluent in both English and Danish is required. You have a driving license and the ability to travel. 

You are customer focused, and are an exceptionally good listener with ability to quickly understand and prioritize customer requirements. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills are required.


B.Sc. in a biological or relevant technical subject. Additional Ph.D. in a biological subject a nice to have.
Experience of troubleshooting, installations and/or technical repair. 
Hands on experience from laboratory automation or other medtech experience is strongly meritorious, as well as previous experience from customers within in biomedical / research /diagnostic laboratories.
Computer and software literacy, preferably with some knowledge in programming languages such as C#, .NET, VBScript, Matlab.
Great communication and social skills. You are an effective listener, and seeks first to understand before providing a solution. 
Fluent Danish and English language skills are a must
You have project management skills and plan your work efficiently. 
Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team
You have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and are customer focused. 
You have a driving license and the ability to travel.
