The job
As part of one of three teams in our Malmö office you will help us design and develop the next generation of our market leading 3D modelling and fabrication tools, with focus on the marine market. Some of the challenges you will meet are the sheer size of the complete solution and the complex problems to solve. Your team is responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D teams and functions around the world.
Key responsibilities
Contribute to end-to-end delivery of complex product enhancements and fixes. Provide support to peers in doing the same.
Help with backlog refinement and participate in Scrum meetings including sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
Plan work spanning multiple sprints.
Follow processes and best practices for the team and suggest improvements to products.

Senior Application Engineer
The Senior Engineer is a key role in contributing to the growth of business within the region, providing the essential post-sales product support, training, consultancy, and implementation for AVEVA applications. They will work very closely with the sales team in identifying opportunities, providing technical support at all levels of customer engagement and responding to product support issues.
The job holder is accountable for delivery of professional services to customers, either internally or externally, and may be required to travel as a representative of the company wherever necessary to deliver services.
Provide first line product support as required to customers in the region, under minimal guidance.


Promptly addressing and resolve customer technical issues.


Provide high quality, specialist product training in both AVEVA training centres and at customer locations.


Deliver excellent, professional and knowledgeable deployment and configuration services to AVEVA’s customers.


Work with members of the technical team and technical managers to help develop scopes of work and proposals for consulting and customisation services.
Develop technical skills within their primary domain and into other AVEVA product areas to assist in the growth of the technical team in the region.

Skills and qualifications:

Proven 4 years or more experience of AVEVA products or similar technologies

In the role of HR Business Partner, based in the Nordics (preferably Malmö, Sweden) or the Netherlands you would be supporting our People Team in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The job
As part of one of three teams in our Malmö office you will help us design and develop the next generation of our market leading 3D modelling and fabrication tools, with focus on the marine market. Some of the challenges you will meet are the sheer size of the complete solution and the complex problems to solve. Your team is responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D teams and functions around the world.

Key responsibilities
· Contribute to end-to-end delivery of complex product enhancements and fixes. Provide support to peers in doing the same.
· Help with backlog refinement and participate in Scrum meetings including sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
· Plan work spanning multiple sprints.
· Follow processes and best practices for the team and suggest improvements to products.

Ideal experience

The Principal Application Consultant is a key role in contributing to the growth of business within the region, providing the essential post-sales product support, training, consultancy, and implementation for AVEVA applications.
The job holder is accountable for delivery of professional services to customers, either internally or externally, and may be required to travel at short notice as a representative of the company wherever necessary to deliver services.








Responsibilities


· Provides complex first line product support as required to customers in the region
· Promptly addresses and resolves customer complaints or technical issues and escalate if necessary.
· Provides high quality, specialist product training in both AVEVA training centers and at customer locations.
· Delivers excellent, professional, and knowledgeable deployment and configuration services to AVEVA’s customers.
· Works with members of the technical team and technical managers to help develop scopes of work and proposals for consulting and customisation services.

AVEVA currently has an excellent career opportunity with an exciting progression plan for a customer support engineer to work within the Global Customer Support (GCS) team based in Northern Europe. As a member of the Global Customer Support (GCS) team, you will support customers across a rich portfolio of vital software, provide award-winning technical support and consultancy to help our customers protect and extend the value of their investment and keep their operations running smoothly.
The GCS Support team provides customer-focused training, consultancy and support via AVEVA’s helpdesk system. This position is charged with a range of customer-focused activities for large multinational customers through to smaller national and regional customers. The role focuses on the post-sales phase, working with other departments to ensure the needs of customers are met.
As a customer support engineer, you will initially support and be supported by the GCS team. The team is made up of application consultants from various engineering backgrounds. As you progress you will be expected to further develop your AVEVA product knowledge and skills to a point where you are comfortable to support customers on your own or as part of the wider team.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Support Duties
• Respond to customer product inquiries.
• Create and assign tickets to correct group or team member, using AVEVA’s helpdesk system.
• Work with wider team to ensure timely resolution of the customer’s issues.
• Responsible for reviewing and updating cases to ensure AVEVA meet KPI’s outlined in customer support procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting client problems and recommending corrective action.
• Assist the team with customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
• Assist with the setup of training environments and ensuring the correct software is loaded on to the machines. This could be physical hardware or virtual cloud-based hardware.



Building Customer Relationships
Support the team by discussing with customers AVEVA products and services in a professional manner.
Participate in the development of productive client relationships to enhance the free exchange of information relevant to AVEVA’s business goals.
Proactively develop customer relationships and maintain regular client contact to ensure issues are dealt with effectively and quickly.



Sales, Marketing & Development
Support the team participating in trade shows and exhibitions as agreed with Sales & Marketing, dealing with people in a confident and relaxed manner.
Make use of technical literature and presentations on AVEVA products and services to highlight their advantages and benefits to existing and potential customers.
Review product functional specifications when requested and participates in software testing.
Motivated to develop AVEVA software knowledge.



Qualifications / Experience:

Several years' experience working in plant/process industry
