About the position

As a software engineer working at Corebon you’ll be a part of the Induction Heating Systems department, working with the development of the next generation induction heating technology. The team consists of knowledgeable software-, hardware engineers and product specialists.

You will be responsible for frontend programming of electronics, development of a web interface used for remote control and data mining etc. The web development is done in Node JS which is why we consider previous work experience from this language meritorious for the position.

To succeed as a software engineer at Corebon you need to be independent, driven and unpretentious. If you have an interest in programming/electronics and been spending time doing some exiting project on your own you’ll have an advantage when applying for the position.

Senior Research Engineer/Material Expert
Within this job you will be responsible for material analysis and characterization to drive production process development and optimization. Contribute to building up new material standards and verify the current ones are fulfilled. Product and process development within the field of composite materials, induction heating and related activities. You will be working with polymer composites as well as fiber reinforced high temperature materials such as CMCs, involving aspects such as material coatings and failure mechanisms and degradation, linking microscopic and macroscopic behavior together.
The work includes but is not limited to: experimental and laboratory work, project management, running of laboratory equipment, material characterization, optimization of process parameters, analysis and documentation as well as testing and verification of results in production. The work also includes development of tools for data acquisition, signal processing, generation of input data for simulations etc.
The role means project management of internal and customer driven R&D projects, including EU and state funded projects, representation of the company and its products when required and providing support and teaching of machine specific details, including procurement.
We are searching you who have experience and knowledge in composite materials and processing as well as in material analysis and testing. You should have a research background in related fields and be used to work with testing equipment for these types om materials. You should be motivated and interested in the technology, feel confident in being the expert in your field and eager to learn new things as well as to lead and teach other people.

Engineer, Induction Heating
Induction heating is a non-contact method which can be used for fast and direct heating of all electrically conductive materials. Magnetic materials such as steel are particularly easy to heat
whereas carbon fibers are much harder.
Corebon has developed induction heating solutions, including our own frequency inverters and a simulation database for optimization of CFRP heating and processing. The result is a setup with high efficiency, with uniform and controllable temperature pattern over large components.
We are now looking for expanding our great team of induction heating engineers at Corebon to be able to serve our customers with unique solutions for their composite production. You will be involved in the development of state-of-the-art heating solutions for numerous processes within several interesting industries.
You will be involved from the early stage of a project all the way to a finished product used either in our own state of the art production facility or at one of our customer’s sites. Examples of applications are rapid thermal cycling of metal molds for compression molding or resin transfer molding, direct heating of carbon fiber for induction welding of thermoplastic composites, bonding of parts or continuous processes like pultrusion and automatic tape laying.
The role as an induction heating engineer is cross disciplinary with plenty of room for invention and flexibility in work duties.

Who are you?

What will you do
You will work closely together with Kenneth on a daily basis and help him with high and low tasks and hereby help Corebon succeed on our journey to become one of a world leading companies on composite processing.
Example of tasks are
Overseeing key projects - such as affiliated companies and customer relations
Work on ad hoc tasks and ensure timely completion.
Preparing reports, presentations, etc.
Managing phone calls, routine emails and correspondence with vendors and clients.
Taking meeting minutes
Coordinate and maintain the calendar including organizing all appointments, meetings, conferences etc.

You will work with people in all positions, including contacts with very senior managers on multinational companies on a regular basis.

Kenneth is a PhD and former ass Professor from Lund University that is one of the founders behind Corebon core technology. He really loves major challenges and never takes no for an answer when it comes to technical difficulties.
