We are doing this by creating a virtual drum kit that works with an app to help aspiring drummers learn the drums, create great art, and share their content globally. Our team of thirteen is a tight, cross-functional group of engineers, designers, and marketers that have come together from a love for music and technology.
About You:
You're a growth marketer with an impressive track record in paid search and mobile advertising. You will set Freedrum’s foundation of planning, analysing, and optimising digital marketing campaigns as they relate to the profitable acquisition of customers as we launch the next generation of our product. It’s important you are used to collaborating cross functionally across marketing and product teams.
You have an undergraduate degree or higher in marketing (or other related field) and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in scaling consumer facing brands. Finally, a passion for music, art or design is essential as it’s important you are sympathetic to the challenges of promoting a technically complex product to a global community of creative musicians and artists.
The Role:
You will work within our marketing team (currently three members), to grow our user base, systematically map our market, and be responsible for the performance of Freedrum’s social media advertising channels. This includes building out innovative growth experiments to be deployed across conventional ad platforms (Facebook/Instagram/Google) but could also include niche advertising channels when you see opportunity, whilst maintaining focus on long-term brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Your responsibilities will also include summarising Freedrum’s digital marketing performance using your choice of analytical tools and methods. It's important you can leverage your analytical abilities to look beyond the numbers, and understand how our aspiring musicians interact with our website, app and brand, to grow our global reach and effectively communicate your insights back to the teams.
You will be tightly working daily with content creation and customer support members to make sure there is a strong synergy between our content marketing strategies, brand and community building, and our goal to grow our user base of over 20 000 global Freedrummer’s with paid acquisition.
Roles and responsibilities:
Own our paid advertising strategies and tactics to efficiently drive quarterly and year on year growth across marketing programs for paid search.
Own all aspects of campaign set up and execution, troubleshooting, and reporting, with a sustained focus on scalability.
Manage day-to-day campaign metrics and actively monitor campaign KPIs to optimize and amplify across paid search.
Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses to recommend and execute updates to creative and copy to identify replicable marketing tactics and channels.
Support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPIs.



Requirements:
An undergraduate (or higher) degree in marketing or applicable field.
Five years proven experience of growing consumer facing brands.
Exceptional written and verbal English skills.

About You
You're a musical instructor that has specialised in drum set education. You're passionate about inspiring thousands of people to learn music. You're excited by the challenges of working with software development in a startup environment.
You have an undergraduate degree or higher in musical instruction and also have an additional five years of experience in music education.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating a curriculum that caters for a drummer's first three years of music instruction. The curriculum will be software-based meaning that the learner will interact with it through an app. You will work closely with a team of designers and engineers to implement your work in a beautifully designed app that will be released to thousands of customers around the world.
Instructional videos will be recorded to accompany lessons and you'll be responsible for writing the script and performing on-camera as an instructor. Once released, you will also interact with students as they ask questions about lessons through the app.
Roles and Responsibilities
Along with other members of the team, construct a complete drumming lesson curriculum that covers the first three years of a drummer's life using the Freedrum product
Work closely with a design and technical team to build a curriculum into a software application that will be available on both mobile and PC platforms
Support learners over chat or email with questions that they may have about lessons or specific skills they are learning about
Perform pre-recorded lessons using the Freedrum product on-camera
Perform using the Freedrum product on-camera for advertising material
