Project Description
ECU for adaptive suspension control for Vendor's new car platform that is based on Autosar architecture and ST’s triple-core MCU SPC58G84.
Test Team works on development of Test Rig for automated testing this ECU. There are a lot of REQs that involve direct access to MCU’s internal HW. For doing that, PLS’s UDE HW+SW has been chosen. UDE SW is based on MS COM technology and supports scripting in many languages including Python, C#, Perl, JavaScript, etc
Requirements
- Embedded System Engineering
- Debugging of the Embedded Systems
- Safety-critical applications (e.g. medical, mining, automotive, robotics, aerospace)
- Microcontroller-based circuit schematics (reading + basic prototyping capabilities)
- Special knowledge in Automotive Software Engineering
- JTAG debugger ECU's JTAG interface along with special HW/SW tools will be used for test case implementation using their CLI capabilities
- vTestStudio
- Embedded automation testing experience.
- Practical experience with software product requirement analysis and test specification creation;
- English both spoken and written;
- Good communication skills;
- Technical engineering degree;
- Self-study ability and ready to apply new approach or technology from scratch;
Nice to have:
- HIL, MIL, SIL testing methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of specific processes for safety-critical SW development (ISO-26262);
- Automotive SW tools and HW testing

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with automotive background for our Automotive Department.
Key responsibilities will be: implementing of test-scripts for running on PLS debugger that directly accesses MCU SPC58NG84 over JTAG interface (r/w memory, set breakpoints, time measurements, etc).
