Project Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:
• Skilled and budgeting, reporting, developing BOQ’s, profit plans.
• Good communication skills. Undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with the Client and Internal Project Team. Report in detail as required for the Project Manager on the commercial status of the project.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed and payments are made per the agreed sub-contract and procurement terms. Retentions apply as per agreements.
• As a member of the commercial team, the Project Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with administering the contract obligations and meet additional Client requirements. Internet-of-Things (IoT)-konceptet är allmänt använt och massiva datamängder genereras varje dag. En betydande mängd data har publicerats från kommuner och andra enheter, både rådata och beskrivande statistik. Denna nya mängd data (t.ex. oppnadata.se, dataportal.se, osv) gör det möjligt att skapa nya applikationer och tjänster för att öka effektiviteten för företag.

* Leverera en uppsats av hög kvalitet som är baserad på en robust och transparent metodologi inklusive användning av öppen data

Project Description: In recent years, wireless power transfer (WPT) technology has become very popular through the application of wireless charging for smartphones, and hundreds of millions of devices are now equipped with this technology. Specifically, it is the short-range, inductively coupled WPT system that has been implemented in the Qi Specification, which is the dominant global standard for wireless charging of smartphones. Central to an inductively coupled WPT system are the transmitter and receiver coils that are electromagnetically coupled for the transfer of electrical power. Though the physical mechanisms behind this form of power transfer is well understood, there remain interesting and practically important research questions. One such question concerns the quality of the coils used, as “good coils” can play a major role in providing efficient WPT.  In this context, the project seeks to answer the question: “What defines a good coil?” To achieve this, it should find new ways to characterize coils by their overall WPT efficiency and stability to large signal variations, over the frequency range of interest. Design parameters of interest include the structural and materials used (e.g., Litz wire, ferrites and lumped capacitor). Additional considerations in this characterization may include space constraint and possible coil misalignment.Qualifications and Project Execution: The candidate should have a good background in basic electromagnetics and some experience in performing experimental work involving electrical measurements. The project will be performed at the nok9 head office in Malmö, where relevant expertise and equipment are available. TDK will be involved in the project execution. The project is expected to last 6 months. The selected candidate will be offered a fixed-term employment (6 months) as a research engineer at nok9 for the duration of the work project. The project is available immediately.
