About the Role
We’re looking for a Finance & Admin Assistant (hourly based) to support our Finance team with daily administrative and financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is studying or at the start of their career and wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-growing company.

The Data Team
Our (small, currently one-person!) Data Team builds and maintains the infrastructure that powers mission-critical analytics, business intelligence, and machine learning solutions. Together, we strive to enable informed decision-making company-wide.

Medical Insights: Analyse patient behaviour and outcomes to support our Science Team in publishing medical studies.
Business Intelligence: Build and maintain robust data infrastructure for high-performing BI solutions.

Data Science and AI: Develop and deploy statistical and machine learning models for cutting-edge product features and services.

The Role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll focus on the critical “plumbing” that enables data science and analytics. With a strong foundation in computer science and a deep understanding of software systems, you’ll ensure that our data infrastructure keeps pace with growing data inflows from diverse sources.
We’re transitioning our backend from a Rails monolith to a Go-based microservices platform and shifting from ETL to an ELT approach using dbt and columnar databases. You’ll help design, build, and maintain the next generation of our data infrastructure, leveraging cloud-based solutions to support our evolving needs.
What you’ll do:
Build and maintain our data platform, supporting both legacy ETL workflows (Python-based) and ELT pipelines.
Design scalable solutions for integrating new data sources and types, enhancing our ELT-based approach.

Integrate with third-party APIs and systems to import/export data, enabling key business processes to function optimally.

The opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to establish our payroll and bookkeeping processes inhouse. This position will be located at our headquarter in Malmö, but you will have the flexibility to work remotely to a large extent if you prefer.
About the role
As a Payroll and Finance Administrator at Joint Academy you will be responsible for all internal payroll. We are currently close to 100 full time employees and additional 170+ part-time Physical Therapists employed in Sweden.
You will also be responsible for part of the bookkeeping including accounts payable, payments and monthly reconciliation of accounts. You will play a key role in the finance department and work closely with, and report directly to the Financial Controller.
Joint Academy is a fast growing, rapidly changing company which means that you will have to be adaptable for change and take responsibility for driving the payroll process forward. This also means that you will be in a position where you can have a big impact on both the role itself - but also the company's continuing growth.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Monthly payroll, making sure we are compliant with Swedish regulations
Administration of benefits, pensions and insurances
Reporting to Skatteverket and other regulatory institutions (Försäkringskassan etc.)
Employer certificates
Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation of accounts
Other administrative tasks related to payroll/finance/HR
Making sure that we have a scalable solution for payroll in new countries and markets that we enter

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in payroll, HR or finance.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience with payroll administration and deep understanding of Swedish regulations and laws

The treatment is based on a clinical and evidence based face-to-face treatment without the use of medications or surgery. Instead, the treatment includes support from a personal Physical Therapist, individualized exercises, interactive education, and tracking tools – and to make it more efficient, Joint Academy digitized the process. The intersection of digital treatment and data science opens up to new possibilities of treating patients in a sustainable and more personal way. Joint Academy has together with academia published 10 peer-reviewed clinical studies with world-leading outcomes that show that patients reduce their pain, change their mind about needing surgery, and reduce their intake of medication. What we're looking for
We are looking for an individual to help us manage and streamline the day-to-day work assignments for the Science team at the Malmö Office.
You will assist us in accelerating our publishing of excellent research, analyzing outcomes and learning through data how to improve upon the treatment program. For this end, we are looking for a Research Assistant.
You have a Swedish Physiotherapy license and will join other physiotherapists, PhD´s, Professors and M.D’s in our versatile Science team, working diligently with writing high-quality research reports for publication in world class journals and assisting in creating evidence based content. Examples of tasks that you will take on are administrative tasks within Science, helping in grant application work, assisting in gathering of data for scientific papers, administrating international networking, presenting our findings and day-to-day research as well as assisting in developing new musculoskeletal treatment programs. Initially and during the pandemic, remote work is possible but it's an advantage if you are located in the Malmö/Skåne region.

About the Platform Team
The responsibilities of the Platform Team include:
Serving the other tech teams by providing crucial tooling, infrastructure, and guidelines for server-side work
Taking the lead in evaluating new technologies and pratices, always with the goal of delivering bug-free features fast
Maintain a Docker-based workflow to streamline development, testing, QA, continuous integration and deployment

One of our current focus areas is to improve developer productivity by further improving our Docker tooling, giving every team member easy access to a full stack of services and data sets while they develop features. This also spills over into our integration and deployment pipeline, where we want to improve our already extensive automated testing scheme by making it easier to run a range of test types over realistic data sets.


About the role
We're looking for someone with a deep interest in improving developer happiness and efficiency through automation. We rely heavily on Docker, but other experiences in managing infrastructure, cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines are likely to be very relevant. As a small team, we need all members to have a solid foundation in programming and server-side systems in general. As we expand our product and reach new markets, the health of our core infrastructure, data models and business logic is a key factor in letting us move fast and keep innovating. The work you do here will be crucial for everyone in the company and all the people we serve!


What you’ll do
Join a team of dedicated and skilled software professionals building a cutting-edge e-health platform
Maintain and expand our tooling for logging, monitoring and alterts
Integrate a heterogenous set of tools and services into a container-based setup that helps developers get their job done quickly and, if possible, with a smile on their faces
Work with other teams and departments to understand the needs of application developers, data analysts, content creators and people doing sales and marketing. As a platform team member, your job is to keep all these people happy and productive!



Who you are
You have a broad range of experience in working with Linux-based tools and systems. You can get programs and services written in different languages to work together harmoniously, and you feel comfortable working with most cloud PaaS platforms (we use Aptible).
At the same time, you are a generalist who can help maintain and fix urgent problems in various parts of our system.
You have strong communication skills. Along with great technical solutions, you create great documentation and written guidelines.
You thrive on the exchange of ideas and criticism, and can both take and give feedback in a friendly atmosphere without prestige getting in the way.
As for technical skills, apart from Docker and Linux it would be great if you have some experience with one or two of the following: Kubernetes, AWS, Heroku, Elasticsearch/ELK, Python, Ruby, AMQP or other messaging middleware. If you don't, perhaps you have other strengths to bring to the table?

We are looking for a senior designer with passion for both creating engaging experiences and compelling high-quality visuals. You will be part of a small passionate design team who will be involved in all stages of the product development process, from researching and brainstorming concepts to iterating and validating solutions before delivering final design to the product teams, always putting user needs first.

As the digital healthcare landscape is evolving, our challenge is to find a balance between business requirements and technical limitations while ensuring a great user experience - for our patients as well as for our physiotherapists.

These are the key skills that we think you have:
- Proven work experience within UX/UI design, prototyping and motion tools (Sketch, Marvel, Principle, Adobe suite, etc.)
