Role description
The Quality Inspector (QI) is responsible for supporting the Quality Manager in Projects (QMiP) in implementing the Project Quality Plan on site and executing quality activities on site in line with the requirements of the product specification and SGRE IMS system.

The QI cooperates close with the QMiP of the project and is being led on site by the Site Manager. In case of non-project related issues or escalation the QI reports to the team lead of the QI team.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for executing the following key activities;

Responsibilities
The QI is SGRE’s quality representative on-site and represents and promotes the Zero Defect and Zero Harm culture.

All workers should be constantly aware of their responsibilities for ensuring a workplace where HSE is the top priority. They should engage with both Line Managers and the HSE team to ensure that, where practicable, they are familiar with the SGRE HSE management system. Additionally, the Quality Inspector must ensure that all non-conformances identified with a potential or actual HSE impact are managed in accordance with the process and notified to the HSE organization for control and mitigation.
Quality Inspections: Quality inspections must be performed in accordance with SGRE (and project contractual) requirements as documented within the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and relevant Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Quality Inspections typically cover incoming inspections, process audits, mechanical walkdowns, and final walkdowns. Where defined in the PQP the inspections will be conducted in conjunction with customer and SGRE Service personnel.
In addition to standard inspections the Quality Inspector will execute the reference turbine process at site level.
Non-conformance management: The Quality Inspector will assist the QMiP in ensuring that the project site team is aware of their responsibilities in reporting and responding to non-conformances, providing support where required. He is part of the workflow manager group in the non-conformance system.
The Quality Inspector will ensure that all non-conformances are reported in the non-conformance system (including findings) databases and executes the day-to-day management of non-conformance workflows to closure.
The QI will support the QMiP, Technical Project Manager and HSE Manager in Projects (EMiP) as appropriate in performing technical investigations and root cause analysis of non-conformances.
Contractor Management: The QI is responsible for managing, advising, and educating the subcontractors with a focus on the Installation Subcontractor and their on-site quality responsible. All related activities documented in checklists about inspections and contractor management have to be carried out and ensured.
Continuous Improvement: The Quality Inspector should ensure that findings from walk-downs and other inspections/assessments are communicated and documented, with corrective and preventative actions, as lessons learned to site personnel, with the aim of ensuring a continuing improving trend in the non-conformance profile of the project so that the company’s snag targets can be reached.

We are currently looking for an HSE Manager to work on a PMC project basis. Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
The HSE Manager will be expected to assume significant technical responsibility and help with managing the day-to-day execution of the projects workload.
Responsibilities
• Develop approaches and solutions to issues.
• Plans and executes the HSE department's activities within an area of the project;
• Supervises and trains subordinates assigned to his/her area or project;
• Assures timely investigations, inspections, and reporting of HSE matters within the area assigned or project;

We're currently on the lookout for a Mechancial Supervisor with a proven track record in delivering complex mechanical installation packages. The right candidate will oversee an experienced project team spread across multiple phases working in sync to deliver an aggressive program set out by the client. The current team is looking for someone who can think on their feet and can roll in seamlessly to work under the Mechanical Site Lead.
The project is a large manufacturing facility, so a background in working on and delivering the construction of large industrial manufacturing facilities is favorable.


The role:
Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met.
Perform daily walk-downs.
Issuance of Permits to Work
Liaise with the client and establish a trusting relationship.
Develop and administer quality control provisions; liaise on project value engineering, as appropriate.
Liaise with the client on KPI development and implementation.
Attend weekly update meetings as required.
Manage the day to day site activities to meet all project requirements and deadlines
Assist with the upkeep of redline drawings to develop as installed drawings for the O&M Manuals.
Management on site of all subcontractors and direct personnel.
Be aware of all milestone dates and ensure all on-site activities are as per the produced schedule.
Be aware of Electrical systems and their integration with the Mechanical Systems
To understand the nature of working in a live environment and appreciate the importance of maintaining all client systems during construction phases.
Liaise with the client regarding the permitting of all works within the live environment and participate in the development of RAMS and relevant client permits.
A strong understanding of the COHE policies and liaising with various vendors and subcontractors in relation to LOTO of their equipment.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.



Requirements:
A trade background and 5 - 10 years previous experience in supervising large installation crews and sub-contractors, mainly in the Industrial and manufacturing sector.
Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects.
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Experienced in design and build
Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems

Role Purpose:
The role of Electrical Quantity Surveyor will have you working across various contracts ensuring the maximum commercial benefit for the company and will entail a cradle to grave delivery from tender stage through to final accounts and all-encompassing duties in between.
Electrical Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:
• Skilled and budgeting, reporting, developing BOQ’s, profit plans.
• Good communication skills. Undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with the Client and Internal Project Team. Report in detail as required for the Project Manager on the commercial status of the project.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations and final accounts. Ensure payment certificates are processed and payments are made per the agreed sub-contract and procurement terms. Retentions apply as per agreements.
• As a member of the commercial team, the Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with administering the contract obligations and meet additional Client requirements. Issue interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements. Monthly applications to be all inclusive of accurate remeasures, site changes, dayworks and any applicable contract claims. Identify escalations, material or labour, as appropriate.
• Ability to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to Senior Management. Follow direction of Senior Management in undertaking work duties.
• Have a practical understanding of scheduling and the associated commercial implications. Ensure close collaboration with Planning Engineer regarding accuracy of progress reporting.
• The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be capable of costing and agreeing daily work changes to include managing the subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks and site change orders.
• Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing.
• Ability to work on own initiative and can prioritise without direction.
