The essence of the role

The Operational Manager acts as part of a small team as key drivers and experts for the Ops in DevOps which includes optimizing ways of working, following up issues with respective resolving squads, driving critical issues to closure and tracking improvements. The role will split its time between agile teams’ backlogs and operational tasks to make sure that knowledge of the current services is maintained. In many cases the role can also act as requirement owner for enabler backlog items.

The role is also part of the Ikano Bank Second Line Support function which will sometimes not be limited to office hours due to our retailers opening hours. First line support is delivered by the Ikano Bank Service Desk while Third line support is delivered by the Agile teams.

Among other things, the team is responsible for:

• Deliver on DevSecOps tasks in one or more agile teams with focus on operations

As Product Owner at Ikano Bank, you have a key role in the success of product delivery in the Agile release train. You work closely with business stakeholders to create efficient solutions. The Tools & Infra Engineer is part of the Automation Chapter falling under the umbrella of the central Ikano Development organization consisting of a total of 56 co-workers, and therefore you may be working on one or more simultaneous changes across the location within the bank.

You have a minimum of 3 years of progressive and diverse experience in data privacy operations, preferably in a global company. In addition, you have demonstrable experience in implementing best practice in data privacy and showcasing privacy by design. You are CIPP/E qualified, or equivalent.
You have the knowledge in following areas:
• Sound knowledge of data privacy laws and related regulations and the impacts to the IKEA business, for markets within area of responsibility
• Sound knowledge of translating requirements from laws and regulations into practical, implementable policies which can be then managed and measured
• Good understanding of how the three disciplines of data privacy, information security and information management can both overlap and complement one another
• Good understanding of how the IT landscape affects data privacy compliance

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will, at a Group level, develop and nurture relationships with the European Ingka markets, using your expertise to provide a support framework for local Data Privacy Specialists.
But you will also monitor and report compliance of EU Ingka markets and create relevant steering documents.


You will:
• At a Group level, support Data Privacy Manager (Group CPO) in leading data privacy initiatives for the European markets
• Represent EU market interests when developing strategic direction and vision for data privacy
• Represent EU market interests when reviewing and inputting to Steering documents, guidelines and business proposals related to data privacy
• Enable EU markets within area of responsibility to implement risk and compliance frameworks
• Manage day-to-day queries from local DP specialists, utilising subject matter expertise and knowledge of data privacy laws
• Support Data Privacy Manager (Group CPO) in developing a ‘Privacy by Design’ culture throughout IKEA, implementing the required processes in the markets
• Support and monitor reporting from markets on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to data privacy, through the use of risk indicators, maturity assessments and external audits
• Monitor laws, industry trends and technologies that impact the EU markets, updating relevant steering documents and roadmaps initiatives accordingly
• Establish and maintain relationships with EU industry stakeholders (both internal and external) to support compliance with local data privacy laws and regulations
• Deputise for the Data Privacy Manager (Group CPO) where required, including attending Group and Country meetings, liaising with Information Security, Data Governance and Cyber Security teams, and developing external networks with industry representatives and regulators

Let’s make a difference in finance for the many people

Reporting to Head of Data Management, you will join a team responsible for the banks Enterprise Data Warehouse including development of the Data Warehouse, Data Quality Assurance and a bank wide Data Governance Network. The team is also responsible for development of Regulatory Reporting and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions. In your assignments as QlikView Developer you will be working closely with several departments across the bank as Risk, Operations and the local Commercial departments, with a specific focus on Finance and Compliance.

You will:

• be responsible for the production and development of BI solutions across Ikano Bank.
• develop proof of concept and prototypes through to delivery of maintainable solution.
• provide sufficient education to the organization to enable effective use of BI tools and self-serve functionality.
• provide support, advice and guidance on all BI aspects to projects and other departments.
• develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
• act as a conduit between the business and the Data Architecture team translating business requirements to data deliverables.
• ensure that Ikano’s BI standard is adhered to and that all solutions and processes are documented sufficiently.
