the capability to navigate in a complex stakeholder map

What you'll be doing day to day
As a Purchaser you will have the opportunity to influence and make a difference for an important part of IKEA by supporting the process of designing the stores of tomorrow with automated fulfilment capabilities.
In this role, you will develop the business, take away cost from the value chain, whilst securing products and services with high quality, sustainability, and compliance standards. Additionally, you will:

A day in your life with us
As a Purchaser in the Media & MarTech category, you will have the responsibility of securing end-to-end purchasing for media placement and media placement supporting technology. You will be supporting the Category Leaders in building long-term partnerships with key suppliers and creating trustful relationships with global and local stakeholders to identify business needs.
Additionally, you will:
Monitor the media cost efficiencies in media buying, working closely with our media auditors and media agencies to ensure we unlock as high value as possible from our stakeholder’s media investments
Ensure we have a sustainable media supply chain, by working close with our strategic suppliers to identify climate positive actions and follow-through on their commitments
Build and maintain trustful relationships with stakeholders on a global and local level, with extra focus to serve our markets in Europe
Drive supplier management & development including supplier performance evaluation & innovation together with the team,
Analyze and manage the total cost of ownership
Execute sourcing projects, ensuring a strategic and professional approach to sourcing, using excellent negotiation skills to optimize supplier remuneration and resources.
Monitor the supplier market and give input to business owners on sourcing options, supplier market, and market trends and contribute to the implementation of the category plan and 3-year category strategy

Your responsibilities
As a Procurement Administrator you will be part of our global purchasing team where your focus will be to cooperate with purchasers and suppliers throughout the purchase process. You will be part of contract, content and supplier lifecycle management, user compliance follow-ups as well as building relationships with purchasing teams, business partners, users and suppliers. In this position you will be working across countries and regions in a global IKEA network.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role as purchaser you will be the primary commercial interface towards global suppliers, execute category strategies and plans to support the Ingka Group on a global level. We are looking for one Purchaser for our Financial Services category team. The Financial Services category is responsible for the sourcing of all financial services including Acquiring banks, Payments, Customer and Business Finance and Insurances.
In this position, you will be the primary commercial interface towards the global suppliers and help to develop category strategies to support the Ingka Group on a global basis. You will also be responsible to drive large-scale global procurement initiatives, which include supplier selections, commercial negotiations and building supplier relationships where you, together with the Ingka team, will secure the best buy for Ingka Group.
An important part of your role is to build trustful relations with the business partners and together you will develop the business. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategies by following the procurement process. WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for you with experience of how to cooperate and work with different people in an international environment in a pro-active and structured way. You have experience of different remunerations models used in the business and have practical experience of at least one and preferably several of the segments Creative, Production, Research & Insight, PR and Events. It is important that you are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who feels comfortable with remote leadership and in driving your own projects towards agreed business goals and timelines.
As a person you have strong communication skills and a drive and motivation to improve and challenge our business with a commercial and analytical approach. We also believe that have:
• Minimum 5 years of experience within Marketing and/or Marketing Procurement.
• A university degree in Business Administration or corresponding.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written.
• Possibility to travel.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Content Development represents one of three Categories in Marketing Procurement at IKEA with several Marketing Segments in scope, such as Creative, Production, Research & Insight, PR and Events. Location of this position is flexible and can be either in Malmö, Wiesbaden or London.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic purchase of Marketing Services related to one of the Segments of the Category. You will drive the sourcing strategy for your Segment as well as contribute to the development of the other Segments of the Category, the creation of action plans and to drive purchase projects within IKEA globally together with your colleagues from start to finish.
You will monitor the market and strive to fully realize the potential and develop the business. You will also negotiate, execute and follow-up large scale global procurement agreements based on value-chain analysis in close cooperation with key business partners within your business area.
