About the role

Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Management (Primary Focus)
Take full technical ownership of our SCCM environment, including: application packaging & deployment; OS deployment/servicing/patching; software update management & reporting; troubleshooting complex client and deployment issues
Design and execute the migration from SCCM to Intune (transition planning; app migration Win32/MSI/Store/MSIX; policy/configuration migration GPO ? Intune; endpoint security & compliance baselines)
Mature and operate Intune as the primary endpoint management platform across Windows, macOS, Android & iOS (Autopilot, MAM, configuration profiles, security baselines, compliance policies, application lifecycle management)
Endpoint security integration (Microsoft Defender ecosystem)
Define standards, documentation, and operational processes for modern endpoint management
Work closely with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to ensure stable operations during the transition

Microsoft 365 & Security (Secondary / Supporting)
Contribute to administration and improvements within within Entra ID (device identity, Conditional Access), Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Office 365, Cloud Apps), and Microsoft 365 tenant health, licensing, and service changes
Collaborate with security and cloud teams to align endpoint management with Zero Trust principles

General
Provide 2nd/3rd-level support for endpoint-related escalations
Participate in M365-related projects and service improvements
Maintain accurate technical documentation and architecture decisions
Stay current with Microsoft’s endpoint management roadmap and best practices

About you
You’re a hands-on endpoint specialist with strong enterprise experience running SCCM and delivering modern management with Intune. You’re comfortable owning legacy infrastructure while driving a structured migration to cloud-based endpoint management. You troubleshoot confidently, document decisions clearly, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and service operations. Security, compliance, and user experience are always on your radar.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience operating SCCM in an enterprise environment
Proven experience deploying and managing Windows devices and applications using Intune
Experience with SCCM–Intune migration scenarios
Solid understanding of Windows client management, Active Directory and Group Policy, and endpoint security/patching concepts
Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical areas
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Fluent in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 and MS-102r
Familiarity with modern security concepts (Zero Trust, Least Privilege, Just-in-Time access)
Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (e.g. healthcare)

The opportunity
In this role you will provide operational support to the Smart Residential/Yale Product Units and Market Regions within EMEIA with focus on assuring productivity, efficiency, quality, cost optimization and on-time delivery with external supply partners and inter-company manufacturing organizations.
As part of this you will support Product Management & the Engineering teams with the industrialization of Designs for Manufacture. In you role you will work closely with and support the Quality manager to manage end-to-end product quality.
Industrial engineering
Generate manufacturing process requirements/instructions. Work with internal and external engineering to create necessary jigs, fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing goals
Support project cost estimations including resources, capital and other requirements
Review and provide input from an operational perspective on product configuration management
Propose improvements and evolutions of products and production tooling to R&D teams
Assist and supervise production partners to realize production prototypes in line with project timescales
Identify issues related to production tooling and drive corrective actions.
Ensure product related (operational) information is obtained and populated within relevant ERP and/or Product Information Masters.
Work closely with engineering, product management, internal customers and operations/production entities to define, track and ensure completion of new product launch objectives.
Perform supplier Process Audit through on-site visits
Work closely with EMEIA Tech support, Engineering and Product Management to drive product quality improvement towards our suppliers
Coordinate operations deliverables as required by the gateway process

Quality
In collaboration with quality function, ensure all quality requirements are implemented at supplier’s e.g. in-coming quality controls, in-process quality control, out-going quality controls etc.
Provide technical contribution in the resolution of problems or non-conformities both internally and with suppliers in close collaboration with quality. Help to manage quality of sub-contracted products.

The R&D team, within Smart Residential, Yale EMEA, was established in its current form on the 1 Jan 2019. What you will be doing
You will work in a small team of experts and will be accountable to own the overall architecture of the residential video camera firmware platform, providing the investigations underpinning strategic choice in regard to architecture and key components, and silicon. This also involves being hands-on; coding, prototyping etc. Further you will provide guidance to the R&D organization in safeguarding the agreed architecture and developing it over time.
The successful candidate will be involved in working through the requirement specification, performing due diligence with regard suitable suppliers, components, performance KPI’s etc, and recommending direction. You will also be highly involved in making decisions about the embedded platforms architecture and modularity, and in the fundamental setup of the development environment.

What we are looking for
We believe that you probably have a university degree slanted toward one or several relevant engineering disciplines.
You have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience, a majority of time spent on embedded platforms and local systems architecture. If you have experience of working with consumer electronics, this is highly valued. Further it is highly desirable that you have experience specifically from working in the video domain.

Experience from working with communication protocols (e.g. Zigbee, BLE, Z-Wave, WiFi, and GSM/LTE)

Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining, updating and evolving the framework, API’s, databases and performance of our backend, cloud-based servers. There is also very much a systems architecture component to this role. The work is done in a small multi-disciplinary technical team, along with project and product management.
You would also be:
Participating in leading the server-side development.
Having strong influence over technical choice, direction and strategy.
Designing the solution with consideration to scalability, modularity, robustness, uptime and security. Also, with an eye on the running costs.
Following industry standard structures, principles, and processes.
Building and maintaining subject matter expertise within our server-side solutions.
Working in a small team involves being hands-on; coding, prototyping etc.

The skills and experience you need
You probably have a university degree slanted toward one or several relevant engineering disciplines.
Significant relevant work experience, most of the time spent on server-side development, design, and operations.
Clear evidence of achieving targets and delivering growth.
Experience of working with consumer electronics is valued highly.
Highly desirable to have experience specifically from working with utility-centric mobile applications, with regular server round-trip interactions.
Experience working in a multinational company with colleagues in many different countries is ideal.

Technical skills include:
General knowledge of all aspects of system engineering.
Hands on experience and familiarity of the domain of alarm or IoT products, general and future trends, and data analysis etc.
Senior in the sense of having experience, proven willingness and ability to learn new, and transition to, new technologies.
Experience from working with IoT security, and comfortable with authentication principles, encryption concepts, cryptographical methods
