We are looking for a Senior Technical Process Manager with experience from large, international, and complex projects to one of our customers in Lund.
In this assignment, the daily operation is heavily dependent on effectiveness and streamlining of all engineering activities, starting from defining requirements, interfaces, and design, through manufacturing, installation, well planned and documented testing, and commissioning activities to fulfilling all licensing, safety, and engineering documentation goals.
The Technical Process Management function stems from multiple dependencies between technical requirements, systems, and their integration.
Primary domain:
Review and evaluation across all engineering processes to identify weaknesses, misalignments, barriers to effectiveness and propose solutions to streamline, integrate and accelerate engineering activities (the framework used for stake holders for how to perform engineering work and achieve technical deliverables),
Secondary domain:
Identifying support and non-engineering processes that slow down or obstruct the engineering delivery work or make it sub-optimal; proposing solutions to simplify and streamline the support processes,
The primary role will involve exposure to:
Standards, procedures, and rules (their application graded based on criticality, safety requirements etc)
Technical readiness of work packages / systems (to proceed to the next phase of the engineering process)
Configuration and change control of the facility and technical systems
Identify gaps, overlaps and interfaces between technical areas and phases (for example between “Develop & Maintain Facility” and “Operate Facility”); review if clear hand-over milestones are defined
If gaps exist between current standards and procedures, establish a plan and drive a framework of tasks and data tools for process owners to follow and to feed into
Implement a lean process management approach where it will make a difference for the project deliverable or operations
Promote team work: actively engage teams from various divisions in improvement initiatives, be a strong change driver, mediate between conflicting technical expectations

The scope 
Responsible for modernization of the integration and platform landscape.
Current middleware platform is built on web methods, future integration strategy for this domain will be designed by you and the team.
Develop frameworks for modern integrations using various tools and techniques to secure data availability in a secure and efficient way.


Testing is part of every engineer's daily responsibilities.
•Support in analysis and form outlook of the current solutions in respective Platform Area.
•Translate requirements, analyse, challenge and document all business needs for on-going initiatives and existing solutions not yet on re-engineering roadmap.
• Be part of scope related activities end to end, securing the required business development activities during transition state (including Requirements, Design, Development, and Test) for the solution. Secure BAT, UAT planning, preparation & execution, test case definition together with key stakeholders.
•Assure data quality in our own master data as well as integrated master data. 
 Map and design transactional and master data to and from the right source with the appropriate integration type.
•Assure appropriate database, infrastructure and technology for the solutions to conform to the target application landscape.
•Create/Review test plans and test cases to ensure compliance to the requirements. Ensure the planning and execution of testing activities.
•Support solution re-engineering by sharing deep platform expertise about e.g. platform development history, linkages to other platforms, outlook on vendor components, and detailed needs (such as infrastructure, databases, integrations), and sharing insight in how the re-engineering work fits in the overall platform roadmap and in the future capability area.


Roles that the consultant should have experience from:
Developer, Tester, Design/Architect and Integration Specialist.


Knowledge:


• Extensive knowledge and experience in business analysis and modelling, requirements management process.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in solution design, mapping/development, data storage technologies, integration technologies, and connectivity technologies.
• Basic knowledge of configuration management and validation, including test methods and tools
• Basic knowledge of monitoring and error handling of data flows.
• Understanding of different delivery methods and software lifecycle management.
• Understanding of the application landscape and the technology & architectural aspects of the solutions as well as implemented functionality.
