What we are looking for:
Tecmika is looking for an exceptional software engineer.
You have worked Pascal’s Linux distributions using Yocto Project / OpenEmbedded and BitBake (BSPs, layers, recipes, SDKs). Board bring-up and driver integration.
· Fluent in English
· 3+ years of Embedded Linux experience on production hardware.
· Strong hands-on Yocto Project/OpenEmbedded experience (writing/maintaining layers, recipes, and BSPs
· Proficiency in C/C++ (system-level) and scripting (Python/Bash)

If you are experienced in test automation and passionate about making a difference; then we have the assignments you are looking for.
As a Test Automation Engineer at Tecmika, you get to work with complex solutions. You will analyze and develop the proof of concept in test automation for customers wishing to set up an automation environment. This means that you are skilled in communicating the business benefits of test automation; you are also able to suggest technical solutions for the customer’s environment and infrastructure; and we like you to be able to involve the customer’s own developers in the automation process.
At Tecmika, you will have the opportunity to learn new things, share knowledge with highly competent colleagues and build a career as a specialist.
As a Test engineer for this position, you will:
- Extent and improve existing CI/CD infrastructure owned by team
- Create and maintain automated black box tests for automotive embedded software using Vector environment
- Participate in the requirement creation process ensuring that the requirements are testable
- Perform system fault tracing together with different knowledge groups
- Supporting the different work groups & stakeholders with joining the test sessions on the rig/boxcar/vehicles
- Work in a highly empowered agile team that is responsible for creating everything from requirements and software architecture to deployment and test

You and your skills
For this position the following skills are needed:
- Full software lifecycle knowledge — from architecture and development to testing and deployment.
- You have been working with system architecture
- You have written documentation on system level
- You have skills in requirement review and test design
- You have worked in a continuous integration environment
- You know diagnostics protocols such as UDS and DoIP
- You are well familiar with protocols like Ethernet, CAN, and LIN
- Automotive industry knowledge with bus communication experience
- You are fluent in spoken and written English


The following are meritorious, but not a must:
- You have been writing automated tests for embedded systems
- You have programming skills in Python, C/C++/CAPL
- You worked with tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer
- Curious and passionate person with knack for problem deep-dive
- You are an excellent networker and surely cross-functional with great communication skills
