The ustwo Europe Studio is looking for an experienced Developer in Test for our product development and delivery team at the Senior level.
You have significant experience as a Developer in Test (or equivalent) working with an array of technologies, and are comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment alongside the design and product teams.
Location
Our Malmo studio is highly attended, and although it is not mandatory, we would prefer to hire a candidate who is comfortable being in person in the Malmo studio at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring robust testing during feature development and testable software architecture is maintained.
You’ll be expected to be a lead participant in testing direction for projects, and assure that the apps being built meet robustness, quality and security requirements.
You’ll work with delivery coaches, designers, developers and tech leads to ensure we're building high-quality, engaging products.
You will be client-facing at times, capable of representing ustwo in both technical and non-technical discussions, and able to engage directly with client teams and stakeholders.



Must have experience *(+5 years)
You have exceptional professional test automation experience
You have significant experience in one or more of the following technology pairs:
Android: Espresso & Kotlin
iOS: XCUITest & Swift
Web: Cypress & TypeScript
You have experience testing API’s with Postman or an equivalent tool
You have experience with exploratory testing
You have experience setting up Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines
You have experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)

As a Product Designer at ustwo you will be involved in all stages of the product development process, from brainstorming business challenges and concepts right through to iterating fidelity of the UI up to launch. Using your full range of design skills to help push the boundaries of what is possible. The role of design within the product development process is ever-evolving; a solution that both delights and engages the user often means being prepared for trade-offs to ensure that the right product goes to market.
Location
We have a wonderful studio in central Malmö which is very close to station Triangeln. We have one universal studio day a week but lots of the ustwobies work from the studio 2-3 times a week. We would expect that you would live in a commutable distance to the studio and if you are based in Copenhagen then we also offer a competitive commuter bonus in addition to your salary to account for the difference in living costs.

The Role
As Senior Product Designer at ustwo you will be expected to explore and communicate design concepts for digital products through artefacts like sketches, user flows, wireframes, prototypes. Get heavily involved in the full end to end product design process from validating design concepts by eliciting user feedback, measuring usability, considering market analysis and balance against technical constraints/opportunities.
You'll use prototyping tools to convey movement and functionality of concepts and create ‘looks like/works like’ prototypes that help tell a project’s story with industry-standard design, prototyping and handover tools. You will have the ability to engage clients, stakeholders and your team to ensure your proposed design fits business goals and technical constraints in addition to user needs.
Whilst at ustwo you will have the opportunity to showcase your understanding and ability to (where appropriate) challenge business requirements to champion user needs, as a way to further promote product and market strategy. You will facilitate and participate in workshops and discussions to promote the communication of ideas and Participate in design research, user research and validation testing.
Requirements
Aside from having a portfolio that demonstrates breadth of cross-platform work, core craft skills and design process, you are;
A Design Generalist. Whilst you may have a developed a specialism you have a range of typography, layout and Information visualisation skills with a working understanding of lean design processes, iterative prototyping using common design software.
A critical design thinker. Able to make the distinction between “good” and “great” work and can design flows and experiences that are intuitive and delightful. You have developed a point of view about your work.
Current in your practice. You have a good working understanding in user-centered design, testing, research usability principles, techniques and methodologies. You keep up with the latest trends in design and technology.
