The Role
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of the mechanical commissioning package on a large-scale data centre project. You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager, internal project teams, and external vendors to ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Cx Planning & Strategy: Support the development of the mechanical commissioning schedule and strategy in coordination with the wider Cx team and project stakeholders.
• Site Supervision: Monitor mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations before testing begins.
• Testing & Witnessing: Supervise and witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for mechanical plant (e.g., Chillers, AHUs, CRAH units).
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with specialist subcontractors and equipment vendors to ensure they attend site as per the schedule and complete their scope of works.
• Documentation: Review and manage commissioning documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Test Scripts, and Compliance Statements. Ensure all "Red Line" drawings and handover documentation are up to date.
• Defect Management: Actively monitor and snag contractor works; manage the snag list process (punch list) to ensure zero defects at handover.
• Coordination: Attend and provide input to daily/weekly commissioning meetings with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Health & Safety: Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in strict accordance with the project’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) requirements.
Requirements
• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a relevant Trade background with significant engineering experience.
• Experience: Previous experience in a Commissioning or Mechanical Engineering role within a construction environment (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or Industrial experience is highly advantageous).
• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and the "Design & Build" environment.
• BMS Knowledge: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is desirable but not essential.

Role Purpose
The role of the EHS Advisor is to provide Environment, Health and Safety guidance working with the
project team. You will implement and maintain the Winthrop management system for the project. The role is to coordinate all EHS Matters within various Project Management Teams and to report
constructively all EHS matters to the Project Director. Under the direction of the EHS Manager, the EHS Advisor will be responsible for providing support to the Project Managers, supervisors and workers. This position will provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day EHS requirements of the assigned project(s). The role may require to be positioned on a project full time or working on various projects. This role may require travel between projects and may require overnight
stays.


Key Functions of the EHS Advisor
• Provide advice, guidance, support and instruction in all EHS matters to management, safety
representatives and employees (including where applicable to sub-contractors, suppliers
and visitors to sites).
• Provide leadership through good example. Be proactive in all matters concerning the role.
• Identify training needs, report requirements to project team and carry out training as
required.
• Audit and inspect projects, agree and prepare achievable corrective and preventive action
plans towards compliance to and continual improvement of the EHS on the project.
• Report on business EHS risks, KPIs and trends accurately with data and recommend
constructive actions towards continuous improvements.
• Ensure incidents are reported and investigations are carried out in a thorough and
professional manner in order to identify root causes and corrective and preventive action
plans.
• Ensure that Site EHS Plans, RAMS and other associated site documents are updated and
compliant with statutory and other requirements and that they are reviewed on a
continuous basis.


EHS Advisor Responsibilities
• Reports to EHS Manager, Site Managers/Supervisors and Project Manager.
• Is conversant with the contents of the Winthrop safety statement, environment manual, risk
assessments, aspects & impacts, legislation and procedures.
• Provides advice, guidance, instruction and training in all EHS matters to management, safety
representatives and employees (including where applicable to sub-contractors, suppliers
and visitors to sites).
• Carries out internal audits and site inspections in conjunction with Site Management,
recommends corrective actions, improvements and document findings.
• Prepares in conjunction with site management team a project specific EHS Plan, induction
and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS). These shall be compiled and agreed prior
to work commencing and ongoing through lookaheads.
• Ensures that the project specific EHS Plan, induction and RAMS are up to date, reviewed
periodically and communicated to all relevant persons (including clients, Main Contractor,
other contractors, visitors and others who may be affected by that work).
• Visits each new project, sets up the necessary site safety files, registers,
abstracts of regulations, posters, safety programmes, etc., and ensures that site establishment
complies with the legislation, client regulations and company regulations as a minimum.
• Reviews Contractor Appointments and ensures that correct appointment is carried out and
that only competent contractors are used on projects.
• Introduces and implements effective measures aimed at the prevention of incidents at work.
• Reports on incidents and/or dangerous occurrences should they occur to the EHS Manager,
Project Manager and Site Managers as required.
• Reports on areas of concern to the relevant party for correction. Persistent and serious areas
of concern are to be reported immediately to line management. Retains evidence of communications with relevant parties.
• Carries out incident investigation in conjunction with site management, establishes cause of
incident or dangerous occurrence and recommends method for future avoidance.
• Audits the company site safety file, makes sure that hazards/risks are
regularly assessed, that control measures are implemented, that inspections are carried out
and that all incidents are reported, investigated and closed out.
• Prepares Monthly KPI Report for their projects, issues monthly return of Site Visit Schedule, KPIs, violations to the EHS Manager and the Project Manager.
• Provides training and information to the workforce using appropriate training aids and
media as required. Issues records of training to HR to update the training matrix.
• Attends EHS Coordination Meetings.
• Attends the EHS meeting with the Project Manager, as required.
• Attends internal and external site meetings as required – safety meetings, coordination
meetings etc...
• Implements and promotes the company Incentive Scheme on all projects.
• Arranges distribution and maintenance of fully stocked first aid boxes on site.
• Monitors P.P.E usage and advises site management on type of protective equipment
required.
• Issues non-conformances, commendations and disciplinary warnings both written and verbal
if required or instructed to do so.
• You will proactively and vigilantly keep information secure and fully comply with the Winthrop
Information Security Management guidelines.

Skills, qualification & experience:

To review and understand project specifications and drawings fully and extract the project specific requirements.
Follow Strict Operational Procedures and Adhere to High Voltage Safety Rules.
Interpretation of basic electrical protection under fault conditions.
Completes Safety documents and lock out/tag out procedures and philosophies.
Carry out review of Switchgear Distribution Topology and Controls prior to start-up.
Support / liaise with specialist Testing & Commissioning contractors to carry out early reviews and agree commissioning sequences and test scripts.

This role will be site-based in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

-The QA/QC Specialist must prepare handover, inspection and test documentation and operation & maintenance manuals
· Coordinate commissioning of systems within the teams and other stakeholders

Issue weekly reports. This will include all orders placed, materials expected, labour levels, risks, issues (and their mitigation strategies/options).
Inspection and sign off of completed works and in line with company Quality Management System.
Schedule and lead quality inspections of the works (Red/Yellow/Green Tag and all associated scripts on the Commissioning Software)
Drive compliance and rectification of any issues on internal and client quality systems for formal sign-off of issues (snags, RCA, NCR, etc.)
Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Winthrop Engineering & Contracting, e.g.: late deliveries.
Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete.
Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Track all deliveries.
Maintain a weekly project photographic diary

Requirements
Supervising the day-to-day site operations.
Supervising the programme of work to ensure work is completed on time
Managing Quality of the work set against approved benchmarks, and ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractor.
Actively monitor and snag contractors works ensuring works is installed as per the approved drawings and spec ensuring the highest quality is achieved and to minimise snags, snag list to be raised on the approved platform and issued to the contractors with follow up walks and close out reports to be issued in a timely manner as the approved QMS.
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensure contractors are protecting finished works, prevent damage at all times, raise damage notices as required.
Carry out sub-contractor meetings, actively participate in look ahead meeting.

The role requires the identification, management of scopes and interdependencies between external and internal stakeholders and coordinating same with the physical construction build.

The IM is responsible for coordinating the handover process and ensuring the required handover

Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management or equivalent.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in construction related onsite project management, preferable in the Data Centre/Pharmaceutical sectors.
Telecommunications Design/Installation experience preferred.
Knowledge of High density fibre cable installation and termination, Cat6 cabling and patching, Rack and cable containment installations, AV Cabling, Alarm and environmental cabling and connections. BoM tracking and management, Design Change management process. Security and Access control instillation process and requirements. Knowledge of Datacentre Security restrictions and requirements.


High-level Resource Responsibility:
1. Responsible for co-ordination and reporting on the planning and execution of the Integration requirements.
2. Single POC for management and reporting of the planning and execution of scopes and deliverables
3. Identify, document and manage the construction phasing deliverables of the above systems and related CSA and MEP deliverables
4. Report Bi-weekly progress through the respective Design, Procurement, Execution and Handover phases.

6. Chair internal Integration meetings, including Client.
7. Manage, and ensure compliance with the Telecom Material Procurement Process

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform site walkovers with the site manager and provide a written list of findings,
agree actions to address non-conformities with realistic dates reflecting the risk.
• Provide a presence on site to oversee medium-high risk tasks and operations.
• Liaise with the H&S site officer to ensure any cross over risks are addressed
appropriately.
• Promote a culture of EHS excellence throughout the site.

appropriate use.

• Ensure site information points contain sufficient levels of environmental information for
site staff.
• Complete thorough accident investigations for all accidents and liaise with company

Issue direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to time administrator for tracking centrally.
Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
Issue weekly cost reports. This will include all orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.
Issue internal weekly progress report rolled up from project supervisors report. This will highlight progress percentage complete based on WBS codes and any concerns. It should also highlight any risk elements within the control of Winthrop Engineering & Contracting, e.g.: late deliveries.
Issue external weekly progress report, to the project manager, highlighting areas not available, delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage complete.
Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule. Track all deliveries.
Maintain a weekly project photographic diary
All other duties associated with the role.

We are seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to join our expanding team in Sandviken, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
· Management of site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the team and QA Manager.
· Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the Project Team.
· Preparation of project schedule - two weeks look ahead for upcoming works and weekly storyboards.
· Attendance at weekly site meetings, project reviews and planning meetings.
· Ensure the labour requirements are met and maintained as per project program requirements.
· Ensuring the quality of the works is maintained at a high level.
· Management of Sub Contractors activities and progress against the schedule & manpower trackers.
· Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to Project team.
· Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications and in accordance with the company procedure.
· Ensuring all delivered materials are coordinated and stored in a safe and secure manner.
· Assistance with the close out of all project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Materials - all with the support of the site project manager
· Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System for Quality, Safety & Environmental requirements
· Implement Health and Safety Polices and attend onsite meetings as requested
Skills & Qualifications
· Relevant Electrical Qualification essential e.g. degree in Electrical Engineering
· 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
· Data Centre experience is advantageous
· Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills

Responsibilities:
Ensuring works are carried out and quality control maintained throughout
Work part of the Quality team to ensure finished works meet standards required, coordinating with QA managers ensuring correct documentation.
Liaise with sub-contractor's on tracking progress against schedule and Carry out sub-contractor meetings.
Attend and actively participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination and lookahead meetings, as well as
Handover Meetings.
Review drawings with the design team and effectively solve any issues.
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensure contractors are protecting finished works,
prevent damage at all times, raise observations as required
Coordinate works ensuring all trades have adequate time, material and resources to complete their works on program.
Manage health and safety, housekeeping material storage, actively participating in issuing the daily SPA's and permits, ensure works is carried out in
accordance with the approved MSRA/ RAMS, participate in the daily DAB's and Whiteboard meetings ensuring contractors are aware of ongoing and
upcoming works .





Architect - 5 years experience or more

· Monitor & identify factors that influence construction costs to create reports on this data
· Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.

· Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction
· Track and ensure equipment is met as per the project schedule

· Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings. Lead weekly subcontractor and vendor meetings for the Electrical and ELV Systems packages and circulate minutes for record and follow up.
