Strong modeling skills required to support any material based work in 3DS Max, Blender, Maya, and/or the equivalent tools;
Familiarity with node-based game engines like Unity, Unreal, and/or Snowdrop (our inhouse engine);
Solid understanding of PBR rendering and material/light interactions;
If you have an understanding of Python, Javascript, and/or GLSL, this will be a complimentary bonus, but not a core requirement.

You're excited about film and game concept art, with an observational and research-oriented style. Your ability to consider the big-picture and deliver high-quality art concepts will set you up for success in this role. You're ready to promote creativity and innovation since you know what works in a successful game. You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with other artists to share knowledge and ideas.

Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
A relevant portfolio: We'd like to see a variety of work, from ideation sketches to production concept art.
You have proven experience as a concept artist (or similar role) through different games/production cycles
Ability to create designs, ideations and production concepts with a focus on characters and creatures, to AAA standard;
Solid knowledge with Adobe Photoshop, 3D programs (e.g. Blender/Zbrush)
Familiarity with game engines (e.g. Unity & Unreal);


It's a plus if you have:
Experience and/or interest in narrative-driven games
Experience taking your Concept Art from scratch through to realization, and a finished 3D-asset, either by yourself or through collaboration with a 3D-Artist.

Befattningen som konstpedagog ingår i museets förmedlingsverksamhet, vars arbete är inriktat mot den publika verksamheten.

Arbetet
Arbetet innebär att planera kommande aktiviteter inom den löpande verksamheten samt att hålla i visningar och workshops som bokas av både skol- och vuxengrupper. Du ansvarar även för att producera tipsrunda, konstnycklar samt annat pedagogiskt material. Du har det övergripandet ansvaret för verkstan och att organisera den uppsökande verksamheten mot skolor och förskolor i staden och regionen.

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som är en kreativ person och är en utbildad konstnär eller har gedigen bildkonstnärlig bakgrund med kunskap om konstnärliga tekniker. Du har erfarenhet av arbete med olika typer av grupper i egenskap av konstpedagog och har förmåga att anpassa kommunikationsnivån efter gruppens behov. Du är välbevandrad i den moderna och samtida konstens historia.

Vi lägger stor vikt vid dina personliga egenskaper såsom att du är positiv, entusiastisk prestigelös och lyhörd. Du arbetar strukturerat och har ordningssinne. Du brinner för konst och kultur och har stor förståelse för unga människor och deras behov och livsvillkor. Du är vidare självständig, idérik och orädd för nya utmaningar.

Arbetsuppgifter

Kvalifikationer
Vi söker dig som har erfarenhet av utställningsarbete med fokus på samtidskonst. Du har stor teknisk kompetens med vana att arbeta i digitala miljöer som Adobe CC, Wordpress, MailChimp, Office 365 och vana vid att arbeta med youtubekanal samt hantera video, ljud och teknikinstallation.
Du ska ha lätt för att samarbeta, vara mycket flexibel, stresstålig, kreativ och serviceinriktad samt kunna uttrycka dig väl i både i tal och skrift.
Du har administrativ erfarenhet, kan organisera och genomföra olika arbetsuppgifter självständigt.

Konstnärliga fakulteten i Malmö utgör en av nio fakulteter inom Lunds universitet och består av Konsthögskolan, Musikhögskolan och Teaterhögskolan samt vår centrumbildning Inter Arts Center. Konsthögskolan i Malmö är en kreativ och stimulerande utbildningsmiljö med högt ställda konstnärliga pedagogiska mål och mycket gott anseende i konstvärlden. Konsthögskolan i Malmö har en tydlig internationell profil med ett brett internationellt kontaktnät. Vi har många studenter och lärare från andra länder än Sverige.



Utbildningen är internationellt inriktad. Skolan strävar efter att kombinera teori och praktik till ett konstnärligt tänkande. Stor vikt läggs vid närheten till den aktuella konstscenen, såväl nationellt som internationellt. Verksamheten vid skolan är flexibel med tonvikt på de studerandes individuella utveckling, där varje studerande med bas i skolans kurser och övriga undervisning, lägger upp sitt eget utbildningsprogram, i samråd med skolans lärare. De studerande vid skolan arbetar med många olika uttryck och tekniker, såväl konceptuellt som processorienterat.



Lärarna vid skolan undervisar oftast i studieblock, så att den egna konstnärliga verksamheten ska kunna löpa parallellt med undervisning. Skolan har också ett utvecklat system med gästlärare, främst i form av externa handledare.



Arbetsuppgifter

I denna anställning är den primära funktionen teknisk utställningssamordning av Konsthögskolan i Malmös samtliga utställningar.

Arbetsuppgifterna är breda och varierande och det ingår både praktiska och byggtekniska moment som att hänga och installera konst, bygga väggar och podier. I tjänsten ingår även att ansvara för drift- och underhåll av utställningslokaler och att jobba med det systematiska brandskyddsarbetet och att handleda studenter samt att informationsförmedla studenter, såväl som personal, om utställningsarbetet.

Då merparten av utställningsarbetet är förlagt till vårterminen ingår det i anställningen även att, tillsammans med annan tekniker, ge handledning till studenter i fri konst inom området för skulptur, främst träteknik, men även gips och keramik. I rollen ingår ansvar för daglig drift, underhåll, och säkerhet av berörda verkstäder. Arbetsuppgifter som materialbeställning, förberedelser inför kurser samt aktiv medverkan och/eller assistans vid kurser i nämnda verkstäder ingår också till viss del. 

Befattningen ingår i ett tekniskt arbetslag där samtliga tekniker är specialiserade inom olika områden. Verksamheten förutsätter stor flexibilitet med ansvarstagande och arbete över gränserna. Vid behov hjälps man åt i arbetslaget och ersätter kollegor med handledning och arbete i verkstäderna. 

Kvalifikationer

För denna anställning krävs:

- Utbildning i träteknik och någon annan för Konsthögskolan relevant teknik inom området skulptur alternativt på annat sätt dokumenterad inhämtad motsvarande kunskap
- Dokumenterad kunskap och/eller förståelse för konstnärlig utbildning eller konstnärlig verksamhet
- Goda språkkunskaper i engelska
- Väl förtrogenhet med Office-paketet
- Mycket god kommunikativ förmåga samt känsla för service
- God samarbetsförmåga 
- B-körkort

Vi kommer att lägga stor vikt vid personliga egenskaper.

Meriterande för anställningen är:

- Flerårig erfarenhet av arbete med träteknik och skulptur
- Erfarenhet från konstnärlig utbildning eller konstnärlig verksamhet
- Erfarenhet av drift och underhåll av teknisk verkstad och fastigheter

Arbetet är mycket serviceinriktat varför det är viktigt med att kunna möta studenter och lärare i situationer under periodvis tidspress.
