Your key responsibilities will include

We are looking for a Marketing Finance Executive to join our expanding team. The role will provide proactive commercial insights and transparency of marketing decisions for effective resource allocation across the entire value chain, covering Revenue and Investment side of Marketing Finance for both Combustibles and New Categories for Sweden market as well as Niconovum business in the Nordics.

What are we looking for?
A finance professional with experience in commercial finance, FP&A, business partnering, or marketing finance—ideally within a dynamic, fast?paced environment.
Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights and actionable recommendations.
A proactive business partner who builds trust, challenges constructively, and influences decisions across a wide stakeholder network.
Experience in budget ownership, financial planning, and performance management.
Solid understanding of pricing, promotional mechanics, and/or marketing ROI is a strong advantage.

About the role

As our CFO, you will work in close cooperation with the management team, as well as the Commercial & Product Delivery organization. Our finance team today consists of four persons plus outsourced services and is based in Malmö, Sweden. The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to CEO and have a key role in our executive management team.

Spiideo is a relatively small but global and dynamic organization. The person joining needs to be able to lead and work creatively to make daily operations safe and predictable, but at the same time actively build an operation supporting the strategic objectives. This also means supporting the CEO in managing the industry ecosystem and exploring partnerships, M&A and opportunities outside current operations.

The function will be responsible for Strategic financial planning from A-Z in close cooperation with colleagues, CEO and Board. The CFO must ensure that Spiideo has a reliable and trustworthy relationship with current and potential investors, auditors and lawyers. You will benefit greatly from a strong passion for modern cloud solutions and connected services technology.

Our CFO needs to bring financial engineering skills required to manage and govern company value creation, enabling the Spiideo solutions and partnerships to attract growth capital and scale internationally. Therefore, experience from international SaaS investors, SaaS KPIs, controlling, accounting and compliance standards is a priority.

Core responsibilities

- Manage Finance/Treasury, including legal & administration. Leading the Accounting, Controlling and AP/AR team

- Reporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts. Managing, forecasting and budgeting KPIs, profits and liquidity

- Responsibility for statutory reporting including taxes, year-end report, and reports to government authorities, in this also manage required coordination with CEO and Chairman

- Continuously develop and optimizing a global, scalable Finance function including automatization of workflows and processes in close cooperation with the Commercial & Product delivery organization to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction

- Support creation of business models and simulations with a strategic mindset

What we are looking for

- MSc Degree in Finance of equivalent

- Experience from company in growth phase, $10M-$50M ARR and related efficient, growth-oriented structures and processes, and wanting to do it again

- Structured, data oriented and process driven person with a modern approach to building, expanding and running a SaaS business

- Experience in creating an 100% automated commercial tool chain for SaaS companies, ideally from an international SaaS operation

- Excellent communication skills - internally and externally, with high fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English

- Proven leadership capabilities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Functional requirements:
Relevant university degree within Finance
Min 5 years’ experience in Finance, preferably in FMCG environment

Experience of accounting, including external accounting and taxes
Experience of financial reporting within an international group
Fluent in written and spoken English (knowledge of Swedish is an advantage)
High IT proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP)
