BAT Fiedler & Lundgren AB has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Manager role in Malmö (Fixed-term contract - 10 months)
Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for month end and year closing activities, Annual report and Tax return declaration, coordinating Control Navigator and Risk Register exercises, Annual Insurance Value Collection, preparation and reporting of cash flow forecast (BAT Cash), managing bank guarantees, communication with the bank and Treasury department (IHC Participant), controlling in SAP and reporting of financial, tax, statistical and other reports to Government. Responsible for correct implementation of accounting principles and procedures in line with reporting standards. Responsible for Excise Management related to Licensing, Classification, Record Keeping, Excise Returns, Excise Payments, Management of External Excise Audit.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Establish monthly and year end closing activities in accordance with local and IFRS GAAP; Preparation of precise reports and cash flow forecast and reporting in BAT Cash
Provide local management and group finance team with monthly reports
Review of VAT and Excise calculation in SAP and reporting to SKV
Review of requests for tax payments, advanced and urgent payments
OTIF delivery of Annual reports and Tax return declaration
Control of inter-company accounting (Group / Regional / area recharge of expenses, local costs recharge to other companies within the Group, inter-company reconciliation of open items, etc.)
Play a key role in implementing group internal control and compliance framework (single point of contact for both External and Internal Audits)
Excise Management: Responsible for Excise Classification, Excise Licensing , Record keeping – process at Finance, Excise Returns, Excise Payments

What are we looking for?
Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
Experience in an FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
Strong Financial Business skills
Actively seeking responsibility and is result driven
A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically Excel. BPC/NAV/SAP is highly desirable
Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format
Rational decision making, analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English

We are looking for a CFO

Spiideo is the leading provider of automated broadcasting cloud-based solutions for video analysis and streaming of sports. With an entirely new way of recording, sharing, and analyzing sports performance and producing sports for streaming, Spiideo has a unique position in the market.

Spiideo works globally with all levels of sports- from elite to amateur and senior to youth. More than 2,000 organizations are currently using Spiideo, including teams in the Premier League, NHL and NBA, as well as national leagues such as Sweden's Allsvenskan. Our customers can typically be found in team sports like soccer, basketball, ice hockey and volleyball.

As the next step in our growth journey, we are now looking for a CFO who will play an instrumental part of Spiideo’s international scalability and growth journey ahead; continuing building a modern and sustainable company while shaping the future or sports video production, analysis and consumption.

About the role

As our CFO, you will work in close cooperation with the management team, as well as the Commercial & Product Delivery organization. Our finance team today consists of four persons plus outsourced services and is based in Malmö, Sweden. The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to CEO and have a key role in our executive management team.

Spiideo is a relatively small but global and dynamic organization. The person joining needs to be able to lead and work creatively to make daily operations safe and predictable, but at the same time actively build an operation supporting the strategic objectives. This also means supporting the CEO in managing the industry ecosystem and exploring partnerships, M&A and opportunities outside current operations.

The function will be responsible for Strategic financial planning from A-Z in close cooperation with colleagues, CEO and Board. The CFO must ensure that Spiideo has a reliable and trustworthy relationship with current and potential investors, auditors and lawyers. You will benefit greatly from a strong passion for modern cloud solutions and connected services technology.

Our CFO needs to bring financial engineering skills required to manage and govern company value creation, enabling the Spiideo solutions and partnerships to attract growth capital and scale internationally. Therefore, experience from international SaaS investors, SaaS KPIs, controlling, accounting and compliance standards is a priority.

Core responsibilities

- Manage Finance/Treasury, including legal & administration. Leading the Accounting, Controlling and AP/AR team

- Reporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts. Managing, forecasting and budgeting KPIs, profits and liquidity

- Responsibility for statutory reporting including taxes, year-end report, and reports to government authorities, in this also manage required coordination with CEO and Chairman

- Continuously develop and optimizing a global, scalable Finance function including automatization of workflows and processes in close cooperation with the Commercial & Product delivery organization to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction

- Support creation of business models and simulations with a strategic mindset

- Responsible for contact with the auditor and, when relevant, lawyers

- Responsibility for internal controls and risk management

- System owner for ERP setup (today Fortnox) and various analytical tools

- Acting as a sounding board to top and middle management on financial/economic issues

- Work as an interface between the company, board and Shareholders regarding financial/economic issues

- Actively support the CEO and board in leading specific tasks, e.g. M&A activities

- Ensure compliance for several Entities (VAT, GST, Sales Tax, OSS etc.) and establishment of new where needed

- Be a driving force in capital raise activities, potential IPO and M&A activities

- Manage investor relations

What we are looking for

- Previous SaaS financial engineering/analysis and KPI experience

- MSc Degree in Finance of equivalent

- Experience from company in growth phase, $10M-$50M ARR and related efficient, growth-oriented structures and processes, and wanting to do it again

- Structured, data oriented and process driven person with a modern approach to building, expanding and running a SaaS business

- Experience in creating an 100% automated commercial tool chain for SaaS companies, ideally from an international SaaS operation

- Excellent communication skills - internally and externally, with high fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English

- Proven leadership capabilities

- As we operates in the sports segment, a sports interest is relevant

- Good treasury and liquidity management experience, managing external investors and capital raise, cash, and experience from series A/B fundraising activities and/or IPO is a plus

- Experience from strategic work at the management level in a software intensive tech environment

- Experience from management of Product and R&D partnerships is a plus

- Experience from Fortnox transition into larger systems and IFRS is relevant

Location

This role is a full-time position based in Malmö, where we have a healthy mix of being at our office in the heart of the city centre (Lilla Torg) and remote.
