Developing advanced character animation systems for TCTD3
Working with core animation systems, ragdolls, IK, procedural animations, locomotion systems, workflow improvements and runtime optimizations

Drive the interactions between the animation and physics systems to implement dynamic character behaviors



Qualifications
What you’ll bring
You will be part of a newly created team of programmers where quality and attention to detail is highly valued. You will also work close to both game-designers and operations in your daily work, as a part of a team of highly motivated, passionate and skilled game developers. You have a passion for creating games, and breath-taking animations, and will most likely describe yourself as creative, result oriented and cooperative. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:
Solid experience of console game development (Xbox or PlayStation) using C++
Good understanding of the animation pipeline from start to end – techniques used for facial capture and motion capture, rigging, data clean-up, etc.
Good understanding of modern animation techniques such as motion fields and inverse kinematics
Techniques for low-level optimization and data compression
Good understanding of 3D math

What you will do:
As a Gameplay Programmer, you'll work across multiple areas within the core gameplay domain: characters, cameras, control scheme, weapons and items, abilities and progression, environments, and interactions, to name a few.

We are seeking aLead Gameplay Programmerfor theProject Fantasy. Glacier, our state-of-the-art engine technology, is part of our success as a studio. Built around visual scripting and hot-reloading to enable completely data-driven WYSIWYG game development, our game development engine was designed from the ground-up to enable faster iterations on content creation, tweaking and debugging. This has been achieved through a highly-optimized Runtime Resource System, a powerful Live Editor and an on-demand Asset Pipeline.

What you will do:
You'll work across multiple areas within the core gameplay domain: characters, cameras, control scheme, weapons and items, abilities and progression, environments, and interactions, to name a few.
You'll work primarily in C++, creating code, systems, and visual building blocks for our designers to be used in Glacier, our in-house technology, via our integrated Visual Scripting Language.
You will interact and collaborate on shared technology with other adjacent domains, particularly animtech, multiplayer and AI.

As a Senior AI Programmer, you will help create our next AAA game! As part of our dedicated AI team, you will work closely with other programmers, designers, artists and testers. Working in our graphics team, your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining the various core render systems of our in-house engine Snowdrop™ that are directly used by our game projects. Arbetet omfattar bland annat planering och utformning av kurser, undervisning samt handledning av de studerande som tillbringar två år på skolan. The Game Assemblys unika utbildningskoncept bygger på att utbildningarna på skolan tillsammans skapar spel vilket gör att du även kommer ha ett tätt samarbete med de övriga utbildningsansvariga. Job Description
At Massive, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to join our services team at Uplay. As part of the team, you will develop, design and deploy distributed backend services that power our desktop client and Ubisoft PC titles with focus on high availability, low latency and scalability. You’ll be using a wide spectrum of technologies ranging from Protocol buffers, RESTful APIs, databases such as My, Apache Cassandra and Graph databases.


You will join a multi-disciplinary team where everyone is willing to expand their knowledge and encouraged to continue learning new things. Responsibilities:
Participating in or leading feature task forces for technical design and implementation/improvements of new features.

Key Qualifications:
5+ years of professional programming experience in C++.
Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs,
Bonus if you have experience in one of the following languages: C#, Python, JavaScript (nodejs)
Experience with at least one of the following: relational databases (My), graph databases (AWS Neptune) and No databases (Apache Cassandra)

Desirable:
Docker containers.

Om tjänsten 
The Game Assembly söker nu en ny medarbetare inom spelprogrammering som kommer arbeta med att utbilda våra studerande på plats. Vi söker dig som kan komplettera våra kunskaper och tillsammans med tre andra utbildare inom spelprogrammering, driva utbildningen framåt. Arbetet omfattar bland annat planering och utformning av kurser, undervisning samt handledning av de studerande som tillbringar två år på skolan. The Game Assemblys unika utbildningskoncept bygger på att utbildningarna på skolan tillsammans skapar spel vilket gör att du även kommer ha ett tätt samarbete med de övriga utbildningsansvariga. Du blir en del av ett engagerat team på 13 personer som tillsammans arbetar med att utbilda framtidens spelutvecklare.
