About the role
Tarsier Studios is a creative and inclusive game studio with 64 staff members, located in the heart of Malmö. As our amazing Office Manager is going on parental leave after the summer, we are looking for a skilled coordinator to cover for her while she is away.
Working as Office Manager at Tarsier, your day to day tasks will vary a lot. Negotiating deals and collaborating with suppliers, organizing smaller internal events and gatherings, ordering and receiving deliveries, and making sure our work environment is up to standard are all parts of the job.
The Office Manager role is quite independent, so while you would be a part of our operations-team and would be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the board, the role requires you to be self-going and proactive. In a sense, it entails managing many small projects on a day to day basis, making quick decisions on the spot, and communicating with various stakeholders regularly.
What we offer:
At Tarsier, it's important that our office is welcoming and fun so that our employees enjoy being here; because we believe that working closely with your team is the best way to make great games. That is why our Office Management and People & Culture-department work closely together to make our office a really great place to both work and hang out in. Our benefit package includes:
Insurances

Overtime pay
Wellness contribution to use for gym memberships, swimming, crossfit, bouldering, dance classes, massage and much more
Healthier half hour - 30 minutes of your work day to spend on getting healthier
Health Insurance - access to preventive health care such as physiotherapy, counseling etc.
We believe that you have:
For this role, we are looking for a strong communicator (in both Swedish and English), who is used to working in a dynamic workplace and can plan their work well in advance, but who is also used to handling unexpected situations and know how to reprioritize and shift focus on short notice.
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
The social skill and serviceability to support our employees in the workplace and to maintain good collaboration with a broad range of suppliers
Experience planning your work to ensure things run smoothly
The ability to stay calm and constructive in unexpected situations, shifting focus and reprioritizing your tasks independently
A resourceful, independent and dynamic approach
Experience taking ownership and driving tasks that require collaboration with others
Experience following a budget
It’s a bonus if you also have: Experience working as an Office Manager
Experience working with systematic work environment management

Applicants must hold a Swedish or EU/EEA citizenship or valid work permit for Sweden as we are unfortunately unable to support relocation from outside the EU at the moment.
This position is full time onsite in the office in Malmö. It is a temporary position to cover for a parental leave.
The employment is planned to run full-time (40 hours per week) from June 2025 to January 2026, and 60% (24 hours per week) from February 2026 to July 2026.
Currently employing around 64 people, Tarsier Studios is a game development studio based in the vibrant city of Malmö, Sweden. A Lead Game Designer at Tarsier
Our Game Designers are hands on in the game editor and experience with Unreal Engine helps. We believe it is vital to work together as a studio in a collaborative manner and encourage one another to be great and stay humble.

We are seeking a Lead Game Designer who thinks Tarsier games “make the world a better place” and more importantly are looking to personally gain experience and knowledge along the way. At Tarsier Studios we not only imagine mesmerizing unique worlds, we create them. We are a mid-size game studio with 65 staff members located in the heart of Malmö, currently embarking on the creation of two new world-class games we are truly passionate about and believe the world needs to experience. What signifies the studio environment at Tarsier is the creative, driven and inclusive people. We strive towards being a workplace with a diverse group of employees that all feel safe, included, and supported by caring leaders.
We are currently looking for talented people who don’t adhere to the norm and who push the envelope when it comes to owning their creative thoughts. Taking risks while owning your responsibility is something we as a studio love to see and encourage!
As our fantastic Office Manager Anna is going on parental leave, we are seeking a service minded person to cover for her while she is away, who can help support and create a great work environment at the studio. The role requires you to be able to plan ahead and then adapt to constant changing. We also think you have experience creating, working with and following up on budgets.
On a typical day, you start by making sure our office stationary, giveaways and kitchen area is stocked with necessary supplies. You might call a vendor to follow up on a contract you need to sign with them, an employee needs a new lamp at their desk, and you make sure this is ordered before you start planning the studio Christmas party.
During the covid pandemic we have worked remotely, and the plan is that this fall we will start working at the office again. As Office Manager you will be a key person in helping people come back to working in a good efficient way from the office. We are also looking into moving within our current building, so we expect you to play a big part in the planning and organization of our potential new office space.
Our working language is English, however this position has a lot of contact with local vendors and you need to be able to make yourself understood to non-English speaking Swedes, as well as being able to read and understand contracts signed in Swedish.
The employment will run between September 20th 2021 - August 31st 2022.
As we are entering a vacation period we will first start reviewing applications in the beginning of August, and after that we will be reviewing new applications as we receive them. If you have any questions, you can contact us at [email protected] and they will be answered when we return from vacation in August.
We look forward to reading your application! Visa mindre

So we're close, but we need more top people to help us get there, and that's what we're looking for right now! We're just about to head out on our next set of adventures, making world-class games with top publishers; all the while pushing the bar of what comes next with our in-house concept team. Tarsier is all about great ideas executed to perfection, and if you want to be part of it, why not see if you fit the bill.

The animators we want are all about the gameplay. Understanding how the controls work and finding the best way to visualize them from all angles, in all situations is key. We like details and subtlety, which means we rely heavily on and give plenty of freedom to the animators to come up with both creative and technical solutions, all the while keeping in mind the final game that the player will experience. The ideal candidate doesn’t just make beautiful animations, but understands when they need to be quick and snappy and when to allow for longer animation sequences. We want all our artists, and that includes the animators, to WOW! us.

In practice, the animators work closely with the designers and programmers, communicate regularly and collaborate directly to hookup the tech with the animations and achieve perfection in both aesthetics and performance. So the role is largely a creative one, but with a tech element to it. Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 is a huge plus!

Gameplay Animator responsibilities include:
Own, curate and implement animation blueprints in close collaboration with engineers
Create animations that portray character personalities consistent with the style and vision as laid out by the Creative Director and/or Art Director
Demonstrate a superior sense of posing, timing, and weight
Continuously push the quality of the animations
Help locate and solve animation processes and implementation issues
Qualifications
Mastery of Maya; we expect to see a strong portfolio with focus on gameplay animations
Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and setting up animation blueprints
Keen eye for creating gameplay animations for combat, core player abilities and interaction systems
Driven to solve technical challenges with designers and programmers
3+ years experience in the games industry
Willingness to accept and provide direction and work well under pressure
Flexibility to cope with frequent iterations
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Able to relocate and work onsite at our office in Malmö, Sweden

Pluses
Skilled in animation scripting
Strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals
Cinematic knowledge
Significant knowledge and experience of rigging

Other benefits:
Excellent colleagues
Newly renovated office situated just 5 min walk from Triangeln train station in the center of Malmö (30 min from Copenhagen C)
Company health care and health care benefits
30 days paid vacation per year
Occupational pension
Flexible work hours
Delicious Friday breakfast
Game nights and other activities
